Our primary eye care services range from glasses prescription and red irritated eyes, to managing diabetic retinopathy and cataracts/LASIK co-management.
We provide difficult to fit, custom contact lenses and eyeglasses for those who are suffering from severe dry eyes or for those who still have reduced vision with traditional glasses. The office design was envisioned with the patients in mind. We are located at the entrance of the Harvest Green neighborhood which is very community focused. We want the patient to feel warm and comfortable upon entering our clinic. We want them to feel "just like home." Therefore, most of the decor could easily resemble someone's home.
Our optometrist, Dr. Hoang, will take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to what your eye care needs are. Maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, so we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.
Sight Eyecare offers a full range of eye care services in Richmond to clients of all ages, from children to older adults: routine eye exams and vision tests, eye disease diagnosis and management, immediate attention for eye emergencies, and complete eye health management. Your Richmond optometrist provides eyewear prescriptions, contact lenses and offer corrective LASIK eye surgery co-management.
At Sight Eyecare, our experienced, knowledgeable staff can help you select frames and lenses that are perfect for you from our large international collection of quality prescription eyeglasses. Our optical team will help you choose the perfect pair of eyeglass frames to ensure that you both look and see great.
No need for extensive cleaning procedures-you don't even need a contact lens case unless you want to take the lenses out for a while. Moreover, daily disposable contacts are generally considered the safest and healthiest type of contact lenses because the use of a fresh pair of lenses every day minimizes the chance for harmful build-up.

Dr. Mina Hoang is very professional and courteous. I especially like this location as it is convenient for living in Harvest Green or Aliana area. I got both glasses and contacts and I'm very satisfied with the results. They offer 90 days assurance on new glasses. I appreciated this since it was my first time going into a progressive lens and my current glasses were 3 years old. I'm happy to say she got it right on the first time and I am very happy.

The customer service at Sight is amazing. They walk you through everything in the eyeglasses buying process. I accompanied my dad on his recent purchase of new eyeglasses because his English is very bad, and he needs my help for communication. The customer service specialist was so nice and accommodating. She already had all of the copay amounts ready before we arrived. She walked my dad and I through frames and lens options. My dad ended up buying a top of the line pair of eyeglasses. I came into my appt with Dr Hoang looking into getting contacts. Great down to earth optometrist that takes her time to make sure I’m content with what I’ll be wearing.
I stopped wearing contacts a few years ago due to difficulties finding a brand that were comfortable. I have chronic dry eye issues so I knew I would be a difficult fit. After a few weeks of suggested varieties of trials, I finally found something I can wear more than 6 hours.

Dr Hoang and her staff are the sweetest! The office has a very nice modern feel with plenty of frames to choose from. We started out with my 5 year old son for his check-up. He was so comfortable with her that he went to the back by himself. He went home and raved to my husband about his experience. My husband ran out of contacts and his emergency glasses shattered in the midst of Covid-19. I emailed the office and Dr Hoang emailed me back almost immediately and scheduled my husband two hours later! I love how quick and caring they are at the office. I'm so glad we found Dr Hoang!

My son and I had exams today and we were blown away with the modern equipment, clean office, friendly staff, and professionalism of Dr. Hoang. Dr. Hoang was so through and explained every step of the process. My son felt at ease with Dr. Hoang and she made him feel so comfortable and be part of the exam. I just want the world to know how wonderfully supportive, kind, professional, and helpful everyone in this office is. When I called, they answered promptly and quickly worked with my schedule to get me an appointment same day. I was very nervous to go in because for two years, I have tried endlessly and failed to get contacts anywhere near my eyes. Dr. Hoang has been my eye doctor for 2 years and although she has moved to Richmond, I will make the drive from Spring to ensure my eyes are in the best hands. From my yearly exam to my medical eye issues, no one takes my concerns about my eyes as seriously as Dr Hoang and that's super important to someone such as myself who is always on devices and constantly exposed to harmful blue light. She explains what my prescription means to me in terms I can understand and suggests enhancements according to my prescription to make sure I am getting my best vision possible.
