Joe's Cafe is growing (and hiring)! Joe's Cafe is a regional favorite late-night restaurant donut shop with 6 locations: Causeway, Veterans, Terrytown, Barataria, Westwego, and Lapalco, across the Eastbank and Westbank. Joe's also recently opened Daiquiri Joe's, on Veteran's, which sells the best daiquiris in the Greater New Orleans area!
When we went into the 2021 Mardi Gras season we weren't sure what to expect. We were overjoyed to see so many new and returning customers come to Joe's this year for our freshly-baked king cakes! Anyone who knows Joe's knows that we take pride in every mouthwatering cake, braided with cinnamon-infused handmade dough and baked to perfection.

They had such good reviews but we went in and didn't get service for over 15 min. Stood at the front and waited, was told I will help you in a minute. Finally got tired of waiting and sat down until someone else walked in and got helped before us. So I got back in line and was finally helped. (There were 6 of us in our group so i know we were noticed) Ordered 2 orders of beignets and a king cake. Both were pretty good but not enough to go back. I looks like a great place, maybe they were just having an off night.

Been sitting in drive thru 15 min, several women walked passed and looked directly in my eye. Young girl, blond braids and blanket with kisses on it as if she stepped right out of bed. They have some really great donuts. I went around noon on a Sunday. The girls there were nice and pleasant. I waited for about 15 minutes or so after I chose my dozen donuts because I also got a dozen mini burgers with cheese which were alright. I wish that they would upgrade their cheese to a better american cheese as I couldnt really tell it was there sadly. They DO have my favorite chocolate with sprinkle donuts as they have the candy option and the softer long sprinkles (which are my favorite and for some reason are non existent in the area of new orleans that I live). I hope this helps some

Can't say enough great things about this place. Came in for breakfast on out last day in town and I'm mad we didn't discover this gem earlier. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is amazing. We have eaten here twice in one day and if they were 24 hours I would come back again for another meal before I left. Can't wait to come back in town just to eat here.
My wife got the shrimp and grits for breakfast, I got the breakfast quesadilla and my kid got the biscuits and gravy. We came back for dinner and all I can say is you'd be a fool not to order the cajun egrolls. Wings are amazing also

Stopped there on our way back home after a long weekend and I have to say we were very impressed. Service was outstanding, such nice people; everyone greeted us as soon as we walked in. We decided to sit down at the counter and a very nice gentleman came over and was ready to recommend and answer any questions we had. We decided on the French toast and western omelet. Both came out in a very timely manner and was very good. We actually wished we would have discovered this place sooner as they had just about everything one could want. So I placed an order from here over phone the lady said it would be 20mins. I arrived within allotted time to pick up food. Once I paid the lady said it should be up soon which took an additional 25mins before food was ready. The lady didn't even offer a courtesy drink or whatever. I ordered 3 plates a seafood dinner with fish, shrimp and fries. 2nd plate was blackened fish with seasoned vegetables side salad and garlic bread which they forgot. 3rd plate was white beans with fried fish. Now mind you all I'm thinking food was gonna be proportionate but fooled me. The fish on all plates

Decided to give this place another chance since it is under new management. Don't waste your time. They messed up the order and when kindly pointing it out, the cook in the back was screaming and throwing a fit and refused to fix it. New management clearly doesn't mean anything. The food is horrible and the customer service is still trash.

It's been a while since we have been here. They renovated and the place looks nice but the service today was horrendous... We went in and waited probably 30 mins for some breakfast. Ok a little wait fine but when someone who came in like 15 mins behind you gets their food before you do, that is totally unacceptable... Sadly we probably won't be returning to this location...

Needed food before heading to our airboat adventure and happened upon this little establishment. The place is a little dark and dismal inside but the employees were really nice and treated us exceptionally well.
I had a sausage, egg & cheese biscuit and my husband had a ham & cheese croissant. When I opened my to-go container, I was amazed at the size of my breakfast. It was HUGE and exactly what I needed. The biscuit fell apart as I took my first bite and I wished I had grabbed a plastic fork but managed to put that bad boy away with using my fingers to scoop up massive amounts of biscuit

This is a pretty cool place they. They have sprinkle doughnuts, waffles, breakfast, lunch, omlettes....they have a lot it's not just a doughnut place. It actually feels more like a restaurant with more that just sandwiches and burgers. They also have different lunches everyday.
The staff wouldn't stop being so nice to me. They'd ask if I needed anything to eat or drink as I worked on my laptop with my coworker, and suggested some pretty delicious entrees.
