Dr. Michael Buffo is a Cum Laude graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry and is Glaucoma Course Certified. Since 1989 Dr. Buffo has been a Licensed Therapeutic Doctor of Optometry and has received numerous Standards of Excellence/Patient Satisfaction awards. Dr. Buffo has been affiliated with the American Optometric Association and has been on a Quality Assurance Committee Panel for a vision insurance carrier.

There are two types of health insurance that may provide benefits to help you pay for your eye care services and products. Our practice accepts plans from many providers for both vision and medical. This is the best optometry office in Ventura County. Dr. Buffo is the sweetest! He really loves spending time with his patients. And then there's Monica. Monica is what makes this office so special. She has the best personality for this job. She truly understands style and I can't help but feel like I'm just talking to a friend when I'm with her.

I have been coming to Boulevard optometry for many years. Michael, Monica, and the rest of his staff have always been kind, helpful, and professional. Dr Buffo is an amazing and gifted optometrist. My family and I have been patients of he and his practice for over 15 years. Dr. Buffo is very kind, very patient, and very understanding in helping me with my complex eyeglasses situation.

After the great Yelp reviews, I decided to try this office myself. Easy access and parking to Old Towne location. Dr. is very friendly and easy to communicate with and staff is very nice and helpful. Fastest Opt visit I've ever had. No upsale pressure that I have endured in other offices. Suggestions were to my liking and found a frame that really appeals to my taste. Decided to make an appointment for my husband and will let my sister know as well. Happy with visit.

I had a loose screw in my prescription glasses from another optometrist that I could not get back in and I was afraid would drop out. I just looked on Yelp and found a nearby optometrist and walked in and met Monica who was very cheerful and offered to help me. it was a struggle as it took her about 10 minutes but she fixed my problem, refused to take payment even though I told her my current optometrist is a personal friend. My wife however is not as beholden to that friendship and will be coming in to see them. I understand why their reviews are all five stars now.

Had to get new glasses ASAP as mine were stole ( i know right, who steals prescription glasses!), so i reach out to Boulevard optometry and they got me in the same day. The staff is amazing and friendly, almost made me forget i was getting my eyes checked. They understood my situation and put a rush on my glasses. The selection of eye wear they had was second to none. I will make sure i go back and refer friends and family to Dr. Buffo's office. The girls were fun and very helpful!

Best receptionist EVER! Monica is warm, professional, down to earth, friendly and one of best parts of my visit. Great customer service! Dr. Buffo is easy going and cool. His office is very comfortable, clean, homey, touches of luxury here and there which I appreciate as a shopper. The experience is great picking out glasses. Monica is the best. I have gotten a ton of compliments on my LaFont brand glases which is a high end brand that are rare to find. They carry unique frames - upscale and average glasses for all budgets.

I came to this place because I had something in my eye and was also having trouble with my readibg. DR Buffy and his staff were so nice and fixed me up really well. A week later I went back for my new RayBan frames which are really great. Thankyou for being so nice and easy to deal with. I had out of date insurance info which they helped sort out too.

I haven't been to the eye doctor in a few years and decided to try this place. This office is exceptional! I walked in, filled out paperwork which really only took one minute. I was then taken back right away to start the tests and waited one or two minute to see the doctor. I picked out glasses and was out in less than one hour. I will tell all my family, friends and co-workers!!! Thanks for the great service.

My family been patients of Dr Buffo for a long long time. Very professional in every category Dr Buffo is very knowledgeable and very friendly . His staff is very nice and do an outstanding job of putting his clients at ease . They are very helpful on helping you pick out the right frames and lenses. Office is very nicely decorated and located in the heart of Old Town right on Ventura Boulevard . I will recommend Dr Buffo to anyone.

I have been a patient for many many years. Today I called to see if there was any appointments available as I have had swollen eyelid for the past two days. The office was able to squeeze me in less than an hours notice to see the doctor. They fixed me up in no time and sent me on my way. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr Buffo and his staff for really helping me out in a short notice.

I was a little hesitant to go to this optometrist only because I've been with my eye doctor for almost 7 years now. The only reason i came here was because it's covered under my benefits at work. also, being that i couldnt find any reviews on this place, it made me a tad bit more nervous.
