Understand yourself and overcome emotional pain with therapy that treats both your mind and body. I'm a somatic and certified trauma therapist, meditation and yoga teacher in Sacramento, CA. I have been in practice as a therapist for over 15 years and a student of meditation and yoga for over 18 years.

In my practice, I help people of all walks of life process difficult emotions and traumas with an integrative approach and through holistic insight. Anxiety, depression, grief and trauma can show up differently in everyone and is not always as obvious as you'd think. You might find yourself in a rough season of life where your normal coping tools are not bringing you relief.
Services
My private practice is devoted to both long-term psychotherapy including mindful body-based modalities (specifically Brainspotting and Somatic Experience) as well as short-term, problem focused treatment, tailoring treatments to the individual's goals and timeline. I am now offering telehealth services including video and phone sessions to all current and future clients until further notice.
Give yourself permission to rest and reset with meditations that are soothing for the nervous system and calming for your mind. The art is my from my craft of being a yoga & meditation teacher for the past 8 years as well as on my own mind & body healing journey for the past 15 years. The science is from my background as a trauma-informed psycho-therapist for the past 10 years and hundreds of hours of specialized trainings.
I have listed my go-to podcasts that help explain the mind body connection in relation to our mental, emotional and relational health. Your safety is most important. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please visit your nearest hospital or call 911. WEAVE is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County.
Brainspotting is a mindfulness based focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neuro-physiological sources of emotional & physical pain, in addition to coping mechanisms associated with trauma and PTSD. It allows the client to channel the healthy "mind" knowledge they possess to transform debilitating traumatic memories and the negative beliefs they feel in relation to the incident.
