The Adult ADHD Counseling Center of Sacramento was recently founded in 2017 in order to provide comprehensive services to those struggling with the often debilitating symptoms of ADHD. To help our clients overcome the oftentimes debilitating effects of Adult Attention Deficit - Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Inattentive type, Hyperactive type, and Combined Type.
Not in the Sacramento Area but live in California? At the Adult ADHD Counseling Center, we've got you covered. We offer Teletherapy, or Online Therapy/Counseling to assist those who do not live near the Sacramento Area, but would like assistance with targeting and managing the symptoms of Adult ADHD.
Do I need to have ADHD/ADD to seek help? Absolutely Not. My clients have a wide range of symptoms, but don't always qualify for a formal diagnosis. I assist individuals who need help with time-management, organization, willpower, impulse control, maintaining focus and concentration, anxiety such as social anxiety, trauma, childhood trauma, and more.
How would you know if you have adult ADHD? It can be confusing, because there are a thousand potential contributors to ADHD type symptoms, including trauma. Symptoms of trauma can often mimic the symptoms of ADHD. Oftentimes, people with ADHD also have trauma in their past that they must deal with first before their symptoms of ADHD can be addressed.
