Ben Kostka is so unresponsive, unprofessional, and rude. Stay far away. When I confronted Ben regarding not responding to my emails or phone calls, he rudely said he doesn’t reply when he isn’t at work. Well, he doesn’t respond when he is either!
In addition, I truly believe they would not rent to us because an adult with disabilities would live in the unit, which is illegal discrimination, and they refused to refund the application fee without giving a reason for denial.

Aside from management being rude, they're inconsistent and aren't well versed in telling the truth. When you do leave, don't count on getting your security deposit back, regardless of how you've left it. Expect to be charged more than your deposit, and outrageous prices at that. Half of the things they say they are charging you to fix won't actually be fixed for the next tenant. Their so-called maintenance guy was not only useless, but had unpredictable volatile behavior. I have nothing but good to say about Dale and his team. Any time I have had a problem, it's instantly resolved. He's very kind (even when I'm late with rent) and one of the few Property Managers that is available seemingly at all times. Sorry to the folks with negative interactions, but mine have been nothing but positive!

Property not kept up. General maintenance lacking. Much talk about BIG projects but painting, landscaping and replacement of trees that have been cut down are not in the budget.(?) Many of the 38 owners are wondering where our fees (11,400 a month) are going. E-mailed/called Wayne 5 times...no response.

Awful company. They were hired by our HOA directors to uphold our policies and neighbors are breaking numerous laws. Sad that you want to move because of shady illegal stuff going on in a brand new development next to 2 new schools in the heart of Oconomowoc. Horrible, horrible business.

This is hands down the worst apartment i have ever lived in. My dish washer didn't work when i moved in. I had them look at it and he said that the hose doesn't connect properly to the wall so to be careful with it. Its unusable and leaks water whenever. There is horrible black mold in my front closet with houses the water meters for the all of the units in my building. They said that this was my responsibility to clean this room. It smells so bad that the upstairs neighbors complain about it. They didn't send me my lease and i was asking for it for two months. I am now on a month to month basis

Outrage is the only word for a person or place who would take advantage of a disabled veteran with PTSD from Vietnam on fixed income by soliciting him to complete an application with him online when he is not computer literate requiring a deposit of $925 a month and refusal to return said deposit claiming he didn't ask for it within 3 days. He was ill and hospitalized thus the delay in attempting to have funds returned.

Absolutely horrible! We lived in Harbor Ridge apartments for a few years, always paid rent on time, communicated well, and left the apartment extremely clean when we left. The apartment manager (very nice and helpful) told us we made her job easy and that we'd get a full return on our deposit. We received HALF. When looking at the list of "damages", there were both: things that had been damaged before we arrived and recorded on our entry form, and damages that didn't exist! When I called the office FOUR times, I was told 3 times the manager wasn't in, but would call me back. He didn't. On the 4th

RES managers my property in Port Washington. Every October our apartment, our front door, windows, stairs, garage are taken over by box elder bugs. It is to the point where you can't go in or our of your apt with our getting a few stuck in your hair. (I will try to post a picture, but I am not too suave with technology) I should say that this is only an issue in late Sept and Oct, however during those months it is a huge issue. I called to ask if they were going to treat these bugs or have a solution and the property manager said she was unaware of a bug issue

Lived at Harbor View in Port Washington for a year. Rent always paid on time. Office staff, onsite staff, and repair people have been fine and even pleasant to deal with. Management is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Completely unprofessional, sleazy, and amoral. Pipe burst in our unit and flooded the apartment in September. They first insisted that we intentionally broke the pipe. RES has been nothing but completely unhelpful in resolving ANY situation that arises within our rented condo. The issues have been numerous and mostly go unresolved. Ben, the property manager, ignores phone calls and messages left for him regarding multiple gas leaks, thefts in the building, broken bathtubs, mold in the basement, and the list can go on and on. When you do finally get a hold of him, it's with a bad attitude and usually another several days before anything gets resolved.
