We have developed a service that reduces the chance that your parent will be a victim of abuse. Nursing Home Guardian's innovative service helps detect problems early, when they can best be corrected, and gives you peace of mind. Currently there is no affordable way to help prevent your parent/loved one from becoming a victim.
Even in the best nursing homes serious problems can occur. One way to find out about any problems, previous or ongoing, is to request and review a copy of the nursing home's annual inspection report, which is required by federal law to operate in good standing. But these reports are infrequent, sample only a small number of resident's and don't tell you anything about what is happening to your loved one.

Skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and nursing facilities (NFs) are required to be in compliance with the requirements in 42 CFR Part 483, Subpart B, to receive payment under the Medicare or Medicaid programs. To certify a SNF or NF, a state surveyor completes at least a Life Safety Code (LSC) survey, and a Standard Survey.
