Dr. Belmonte attended CSU Sacramento and earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Science in 1993. She then attended the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry and graduated in 1999. Dr. Belmonte returned to Sacramento where she has been in private practice for 19 years.
She is Board certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases and is experienced with treating dry eye, ocular allergy, trauma care, cataract, and refractive surgery management.Dr. Belmonte can also provide eye examinations in Spanish. Dr. Espiritu received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego in 2000.

I ha a great experience with Alejandra (forgive my spelling) She was great, I wanted Varnet Sunglasses. But I needed a prescription lenses. We looked at all of my options. I spend a great deal of time in the outdoors and needed protection from high altitude sunlight . She found me a much less expensive lens to fit my preferred Varnet frames. She and all of the employees there were friendly and professional. I received my sunglasses in about a week and I am very happy with the finished product. Eyes of East Sacramento found a way to fit my expensive taste into my budget and I will be back soon to

Highly recommend this office. We recently moved from another state and needed updated exams. They accommodated myself and 2 children for eye exams at the same time. Front end staff was courteous and great with children- she took the time to explain the testing to my children. Dr Belmonte was exceptional and very thorough.

The staff were so wonderful at this spot. They sent multiple auto reminders through texts and a phone call. We were a few minutes late but they got us right in. The optometrist worked along with her staff to keep things moving efficiently. They have all the latest equipment to check your eyes and the optometrist explained everything clearly on the status of my eyes condition.
They have a nice selection of glasses at a wide range of prices.

10/10 would recommend! The best vibes. The exam felt pretty quick. Dr. Espiritu was so kind & very informative. When it came down to picking new frames Sam helped me find the perfect ones! Thank you ladies for such a great experience. I’m so glad I found an optometrist I will look forward to visiting for years to come.

Needed a new pair of computer glasses for work, and the doctor and staff were very professional and friendly. They were very patient with explaining their safety protocols and also with my many many questions. My experience was very positive, and I felt that they are appropriately safeguarding the health of their patients and their staff. Already recommended them to a co-worker :).
