I cannot say enough good things about New Day Preschool. Our daughter attended NDPS for two full school years and she absolutely loved every minute of it. She made such good friends there and best of all she always felt that she had the love and support she needed to thrive at school. She is absolutely ready for kindergarten thanks to her time in the Pre-K program.

New Day Preschool is a faith-based preschool operated by the Rockville United Methodist Church. New Day Preschool holds a Letter of Compliance (License # 57667) through the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care.
It is the concern and direction of the Preschool Ministry Team that the heritage of Christian faith be expressed through the day-to-day relationships between our teachers and their students, as well as in the curriculum.We believe that each child is a unique and valuable creation of God, and therefore it is the purpose of the school to provide an environment conducive to developing the "wholeness" of each child.

Our New Day Preschool staff has outstanding qualifications. Each staff member brings a unique combination of experience and education to the New Day team. Our teachers have degrees in Early Childhood or Elementary Education or have the CDA certification. All staff members pursue additional educational opportunities, and all are CPR and First Aid certified.

Open since 1968, the preschool has always enjoyed an excellent reputation because of its fine program and dedicated staff. The program is developmental, emphasizing growth in all areas: physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual. Young children learn best through first-hand experiences. Our curriculum offers wide and varied experiences in art, music, literature, the natural and physical sciences and community life.
A high-energy, fun, age appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer, emphasizing soccer skills such as game rules, dribbling, kicking the ball, running, scoring goals, etc. as well as character development. Preschool is the perfect age for children to get started in a new language.
Our program is designed to give children a basic knowledge of Spanish by introducing them to new and different sounds and pronunciation in an entertaining and fun way.They will learn vowel sounds, common consonant sounds, names of animals, things, colors, parts of the body, etc. Children will be singing songs in Spanish and will also be introduced to everyday phrases.

We just recently had to move away from the Rockville area and the only heartbreaking thing about it was leaving New Day. My son and daughter both frequented it and my daughter especially had become so attached… not just with Ms Bautista and Ms. Claudia but all the staff that were like family.
Having now taken on a new adventure of finding her a new preschool I realize even more that attention love and care ❤️ she received there we will not be able to find anywhere else.
Thank you Ms. Bautista for her love advice and fun she imparted on my kids. I cannot not recommend the school

New Day Preschool is a small school but it has fantastic teachers! A big concern I had after moving here from Chicago was how competitive it is to be in the Wootton high school district. But the Pre-K teacher has not only made school fun, but really prepared my son for kindergarten. The 2 year old and 3 year old teachers are so patient and caring! They have curbside drop off and pick up, it's SO convenient not having to take my baby out of the car twice a day especially when it's cold outside! They have Chapel with the Pastor twice a month, where they learn Bible stories, sing worship

Great school, caring teachers, and quality activities. Our son is starting his 2nd year and we have seen great changes in him. He knows his letters and numbers and is socializing great with kids his age. We plan on sending our daughter next year.
What my wife and I really love about the school is the teachers, who genuinely care for the kids. We also like the other children and parents. It's a great and positive environment.
