Which campers will find Success at SNC? At the end of each year over 90% of our campers wish to return, so the answer is easy: nearly all children will enjoy SNC. Our campers tend to be bright, curious, and creative children who enjoy the company of adults and kids alike. They are good kids who are filled with kindness.
We are committed to guiding children to be their best. Through self-discovery we encourage campers to become more independant, kinder and filled with a better understanding for others. How can our prices stay so reasonable? The State of Wisconsin (our landlord) has given us a directive to provide a quality summer camp experience which increases a child's environmental awareness at a cost below that of comparable private residential camps.

My sons (12 & 13) LOVE Swift Nature Camp. They have gone to Swift for the past 3 years. Lonnie and Jeff have been great about creating a safe and healthy environment at camp, even during a pandemic. Every summer my boys come home wishing they had more time at camp. I love that they get to have a traditional camp experience with no electronics and pen-to-paper letters to communicate home about their fun camp experiences.

My Alex loved his time during this year Discovery session. It was no single thing he would complain about. Hi could not stop talking about his great councelors , how smart and nice they were. He liked his new friends and all activities they did. Thank you Lonnie and Jeff for make it happen. We will see you next year.

OH, yes, this is a wonderful camp for your nature loving child.
One of the greatest things about this camp is that it is an old-fashioned- values kind of experience. No cell phones, no ipads, no electronics.
Traditional camp activities like swimming, canoeing, archery, crafts, games, songs, skits, lots of physical activity, PLUS the option to spend time with and/or tend to various critters like chickens, rabbits, etc.
I sent my grandson for the two-week "intro" camp two years ago.
Last year he went for 6 weeks -- and brought home a chicken he became attached to during the camp session

My son loved Swift Nature Camp! He has been to several overnight camps and Swift is one of his top 2 favorites. The staff are caring and competent and do a great job welcoming the kids and helping them fit in. The kids were exposed to many activities during camp--swimming, caring for small animals, tubing, canoeing, backpack camping, and art to name a few. My son loved the food and mentioned he really like the wide choice of items--even a salad bar. He gained a lot of confidence through his new experiences and made several new friends.
