The Holbrook Mortuary is part of a three-generation family owned and operated business since 1941. The owner, John Holbrook, is the 5th child born to L. Dale and Beverly Holbrook. John earned his Eagle Scout Award, graduated from Olympus High School in 1977. John graduated from Cyprus College of Mortuary Science with an Associate of Science Degree and a Mortuary Science Degree.

During his junior year he enlisted with the United States Army and completed basic training in Fort Polk, Louisiana.

The following is a list of choices which represent the cost of our services. They may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation. Pre Paid and Pre Planned cremation options can be added to these packages to guarantee in the future you have a cremation plan with a locally owned, family owned, neighborhood Mortuary for over 50 years.

Holbrook Mortuary handled the funeral arrangements for my mother three years ago, and for my father just a few months ago. Their care and compassion are exceptional, and they made what could have been very difficult circumstances as stress-free as possible. The Aftercare counselor was especially helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this family-owned business to anyone.

Everything about the service provided for us by Holbrook Mortuary was excellent. They took care of my Mother's funeral 15 years ago, and my Father's funeral a month ago. I was very pleased with how easy everything was for our family. The few actions that I needed to take, such as contact the the cemetery to make payment for the grave preparation, were clearly communicated to me and easily done. Everyone I interacted with was professional. The services were wonderful. The people were wonderful.

My family greatly appreciated Holbrook Mortuary's services both for my father and then, more recently, for my mother. Their staff was very helpful in helping us make every arrangement, including funeral services on a busy Saturday that required special cemetery permission later in the day. Their follow-up help, both times, was also detailed, helpful, and saved us time and frustration in notifying financial institutions and other agencies of the death. We highly recommend this family owned business.

My family has been using Holbrook for years. We have had an unfortunate amount of loved ones pass recently but the people at Holbrook Mortuary have made the process as easy as possible. I was touched by the care and courtesy shown to my family after my Granny had passed. The professionalism of the staff was calming.and my Granny looked her wonderful self at the service (which is not always the case, and seeing this meant a lot). All in all I would recommend this funeral home, and their kind, caring staff without hesitation. It truly meant a lot to know my Granny was in good hands.
