Services
As a kitchen in progress, Local Foods Kitchen is focused on developing small-batch soup, salads, sides, sweets, sandwiches and entrees, using the freshest local and regional ingredients, as well as Certified Humane Raised & Handled lamb, beef and poultry. Drawing inspiration from the flavors of her past, Chef owner, Katie Schma revitalizes them with the highest quality, farm-raised and seasonal ingredients.
We will charge at the time of pickup! If ordering for more than 4 we will be taking your credit card over the phone to hold your foods. From 4 to 5 pm, if it's raining - please turn on emergency lights - park on the west side of the store and be patient, we will get to you! All dinner packages are delivered straight to your vehicles on the west side of the store.
Let us help with your next event, whether you need to rock a work meeting, design a beautiful baby shower, entertain guests in your home or fulfill a friend's sweet tooth. Our daily menu features dishes and delights prepared by our chefs with the freshest local, regional ingredients around, including international deli meats and cheeses, scratch-baked breads and desserts, and savory main dishes and sides.

I’ve been eating here for quite some time but have never reviewed them until now for some reason. This is definitely our go to place for great high quality food and an atmosphere where you can be yourself and not have to be dressed up for. Everything on the menu is a must try. Nothing offered would disappoint. Always keep an eye out for the special dishes of the week/month. My wife and I caught these dishes - Fish and Chips and Chefs Salad with a little scoop of their delicious chicken salad. Stop reading this and Go Go Go!

Featuring the foods and meals you would stock and prepare in your own kitchen if you were Meryl Streep in the movie, "It's Complicated." Right down to the plants in jars, on the patio and around the front entry, it is all good here.
We stopped in for a weekday breakfast and made the choice of blueberry pancakes, crispy breakfast potatoes and an avocado toast with poached eggs on top. Amazingly, this was some of the best avo toast I've ever had! I take it very seriously. It was just as good as in Australia or Asia or Seattle, and yet...better, because the edge crust of the bread

I have 17/25 points. Ready for my $5 off 🤗 This place is a hidden treasure! I finally nailed down my favorite meal - chicken skewer and a side of cauliflower apple slaw. OMG. I've had it so many times. Just under $10 usually. Their desserts are varied and tempting, although I've only had the coconut cream pie. Hoping the beef skewer makes a come back.
Edit: September 1, 2018 - stopped by for two TO GO meals. Chicken skewer and Cauliflower apple slaw; turkey patty with kale salad. Got a sample of the wild rice side dish and learned more about the 3 course dinner reservations. It’s on my TO
