Let me start by saying that I am not a picky eater. I literally eat cafeteria food everyday at the school I work in and it is far better then the food I experienced tonight. I’ve never sent a meal back, tonight I did. It started with clam chowder that was cold. I sent it back to get it warmed up. Then came the fried calamari. It was like the cap of the old bay fell off and dumped into the food. It was so salty it was not edible. My kids picked at it but ultimately when the roof of your mouth begins to peel it’s a no go. Then they came out and said they ran out of chicken tenders for my son

My mom and sister were looking for good, local seafood. Since this place accepted reservations my sister booked there. I offered to find something more local, but we decided to keep the reservation since we had our elderly mother with us, and it is difficult to stand and wait at restaurants with her. As I expected this restaurant is exactly what it is; a mediocre hotel restaurant. I ordered the avocado fries because the waiter promised they had no breading on them just seasoning. When they arrived they were clearly lightly breaded with some sort of breading which I can only assume contained some

The service was extremely delayed even for a Thursday night. Everything from getting seated for our reservation, placing our order, getting food, and paying the bill lasted 3 long hours. Multiple other tables were in the same situation filled with frustration. Getting up to find an employee was the only way to receive any assistance. Multiple tables had to utilize this method.
Food was delicious, but nothing special to make up for the long waits and lack of front of house service.
An automatic 18% gratuity was added for a party of 2. This was distasteful after the consistently delayed service

Service was amazing! Waiters and staff all very friendly. I went at a busy time and the food still came out at a decent time. Would definitely recommend the buffalo chicken pizza and calamari. Everything was seasoned well. Restaurant was clean, not to noisy, and was beautiful. My new favorite spot at Seaport!!😊🤩

Nice restaurant, didn't know it was inside a hotel. Service was great. Food ok, a disappointment because they limit their menu down to very little choices. We pick this restaurant just because they have some Asian menu but when we got there, mostly pub food like pizzas & burgers.

We got two pizzas for takeout that were delicious! The best part of our takeout experience was not the food but the service! We didn’t get his name but the host at Tamo was amazing and helped us with our order right away. After paying we left our card there and he ran almost 2 full blocks to return it to us! Amazing service, we cannot thank him enough!

The food was delicious and Devon, our waiter, made our night. He was so personable and helpful. He really added to the experience and that's really what makes a night when you go out. 5 stars!

First time trying here and I really don't appreciate them automatically charging an 18% service fee for take-out. Is this a Boston thIng? It's your job to take an order. Another to make the order. There was no 'extra' services involved. 3 was Because the bartender was nice and Pizza was good but with that service fee, most likely will not order take-out from here again.

I had an amazing time visiting Tamo. Business casual space but with a sense of intimacy. It was spotless and they respected the guidelines for Covid. I had fried calamari and avocado fries paired with Tamo Margarita. Enjoyed every bite of them and ended up having a second Margarita. Did not make it to dessert but will definitely go back another time for some. Great service and very efficient staff

Nice relaxing hotel lobby restaurant and bar. Good food and exquisite drinks. The specialty drinks are beautifully crafted and use fine spirits and some with real and edible flowers. I had a hibiscus lemonade with a sweet edible hibiscus flower, a lavender Collins with real lavender, a rhubarb mint mojito, and First Empress-ions, made with Empress gin that changes color with the addition of lemon juice. The candied bacon seasoned with Chinese five spice and served in a small paper bag is so perfectly seasoned it will temp your taste buds for more. The chicken and waffle sandwiches were really good

Hubby and I came here for drinks and appetizers. The chowder lacked clams. The lamb ribs lacked meat and flavor. They had to replace the dessert, because there was olive oil on the plate. They didn't charge us for that. When we received the bill, they added an 18% service fee. Again, we were a party of two not five.

Mixed. Loved the atmosphere, decor, and my meal - prosciutto meatballs and seafood fra diavolo. But my sister, nephew, and parents hated theirs - tuna poke (2 scoops of guacamole on top of cold rice, with a little tuna), burger, hot dog. The waitress was terrible, and they added 18% to the bill. I'd go again tho.

We stayed at the Seaport Hotel and ate the hotel restaurant, Tamo Bistro, twice. Honestly, I'm surprised it only has 3 stars. Quality wise, this is one of the better hotel restaurants I've ate at. Its open late hours, which we really appreciated when we came home late from an event. The best way to handle this particular spot is with a little list.

Pros:
+ Comfortable chairs, seating and vibe. Accessible space.
+ Interesting, diverse menu that's reasonably priced. I almost passed out when I saw their Chicken & Waffles was priced at $12 and not $32 (I found Boston dining overpriced

This is a nice hotel restaurant in Seaport. The best part is being able to sit in a soft leather chair next to a fire overlooking Fish Pier. This photo of the water is what I saw looking out the window. Also every table in the fireplace section has a slightly different arrangement of fresh flowers which might be a red or orange rose, a dahlia, or a sunflower.

I got a western omelet with a side of asparagus. The omelet was fine but it seemed like it might be one of those premade egg mixes, completely consistent and with hardly any seasoning, if you don't like bland food just use a lot of

Was super surprised to see Nepalese dal on the menu and was highly skeptical but absolutely had to try. Happy to say my skepticism was unfounded. The chef actually nails the Nepalese flavor in the whole dish. The lentils are perfectly cooked (al dente but it works) and perfectly spiced that will appeal to both western and Nepalese palate. The watercress side adds to authenticity as we Nepalese are known for loving our saag. The naan is not the usual accompaniment but it works with the dish. But the star of the show was the amla chutney. What. Is. In. This. Chutney. I could eat a whole jar

I can understand the 3-Star rating. The good part is they have a solid bar with excellent service. Unfortunately, no matter how good the service the food needs to live up to it's end. This restaurant is at the hotel I'm staying at and I have eaten dinner twice.

Drinks are notable. I enjoyed the Empress-ions martini, which changes from indigo to pink on addition of lime juice. The color change is done table-side with your control of how much lime juice to add. Fun and delicious. Also, very fitting for a chemistry conference.

The food was miss. Oro Salmon was presented well, but with

Michael was the Best waiter I've had in a long time! We had a big party and he was on it! We weren't rushed, he wasn't flustered by our requests, and he took our family photo!

I was nervous about the menu. It's a short one pager for appetizers, entrees, and desserts. So not much to choose from. HOWEVER, whatever you do choose will be delicious!! Our table tried a little bit of everything and no one left hungry or disappointed.

This is a beautiful restaurant in the downstairs of a hotel. The seating isn't traditional so if you wanna chill on a couch with friends and cocktails

Very good place. Had delicious authentic outstanding food. We were 5 people and each one had different type of food. Perfectly cooked and no match can be found for the taste you get here. Recommend to try Lunch/Dinner. Wide range of Food items on the menu from East to West. Service is pretty slow.

Another place I stopped at because of its proximity to the World Trade Center.

I tend to get hangry and I knew if I didn't seek out food I'd have a melt down between panels and a planned outing later. Skipped out on a ticketed panel and headed to this place that connects to the Seaport hotel next door.

Outdoor cafe seating, which we bypassed because of passing showers. Inside has a nice set up with deep couches seated near faux fireplaces.

It was busy and I needed to make the next ticketed panel so my friend and I opted for quick appetizers. I ordered chicken wings and my friend
