As a former U.S. Army combat veteran and Police Officer for the of Oviedo, Florida, Tim transitioned to the irrigation industry while living in Florida and totals over 22 years of experience and expertise in the industry. He is directly involved in all aspects of the company and is in the field with our service crew more often than not.
We offer single-service visits and annual maintenance contracts. The latter covers the most common service to maintain an efficient and effective irrigation system. If necessary, our technicians will reattach the backflow preventer device and turn the water on to the sprinkler system. We will inspect each zone and sprinkler head individually to make sure that they are functioning properly.

Yesterday we had Maple Irrigation install a sprinkler system for our full front lawn and a portion of our backyard. Our initial call to Maple was handled by Melody who provided a summary explanation of the company's capability and services. We were then contacted by the owner, Tim Whitley, who came out to our home to assess our system needs and provide an estimate. The estimate met our needs and was within our budget. Tim arrived at the arranged meeting time to access a problem I had with water seeping into my basement from water settling after rains at my house. I had visions of a massive reconstruction of the foundation to address the problem. He was refreshingly honest and explained that a simple build up of soil to drain the water slightly downward from it's slope would resolve the issue and that my landscaper would be able to effectively address the issue without major costs. I signed a sprinkler maintenance contract with this company 2 years ago. For the first year, they were great. Last year was a whole different story. My contract stated that I had 2 service calls- one to do the spring "turn on" and one in the fall for the "turn off". I had to chase them down via emails and calls in October after failing to hear from them for months. I called Maple at the end of the shut-off season, fall 2016, and they came out right away to blow out our system. I didn't think twice to hire Maple to hook up our irrigation system. We have a 9 zone sprinkler system and the owner walked me around our yard and gave me some helpful tips about our Hunter system. I hope to stay a long time customer of Maple and to call them when and if we have problems with the system in the future. Need option for Negative stars. Crew tore up my yard, owner yelled at me, and they left.
Overall, I gave Maple a $1,600 deposit and in exchange, they tore up my yard, the owner yelled at me, said the work would cost $1,500 more than estimated, called me a criminal multiple times, tried to provoke an actual fight, and left without doing any of the work promised. And I lost 2.5 weeks where I could have been getting an honest company to do the work. They did at least refund my $1,600 deposit.

I have used them for the last three years to maintain our sprinkler system. Twice a year they come to service our system. I have had nothing but positive interactions with both the owner and office manager. Scheduling with them is streamlined. They often arrive early, after calling to ask if its allright to do so. The price is reasonable and I can't think of one thing I have not liked about the service provided.

Maple Irrigation's owner Tim Whitley is knowledgeable, prompt, kind and responsive. We had a drainage issue in our backyard, and talked to two other companies before Maple. One company said there was nothing we could do short of ripping out our entire patio and raising the level of the entire yard 8-12 inches.
