We have been using your water heaters (MV17) since 1999, and after 60,000 miles and 12 years circumnavigating, our MV17 has proven to be very reliable, allowing quick rebuild of temperature when at the dock or on the generator, and equally so when using our engine to heat the water.

Why 5 stars? My wife and i live aboard our 1985 CHB and depend on our hot water as much as the normal home. However, a boat hot water heater is not so typical, and fits into a not so typical space. After doing some very lengthy research to replace our +20 year old failing heater I was a little surprised at the diversity of selection. I set about doing some in depth investigation and after a couple of months of schooling myself on the science, researching build quality and asking around with fellow boaters i conclusively selected the Torrid Marine.
