Routine dental cleanings are important to maintaining good oral hygiene. Professional cleaning by a hygienist can remove mineralized plaque that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing, particularly in areas that are difficult to reach. It is recommended you go in for a cleaning once every six months.
Routine dental exams are important to maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Additionally, they can help to avoid the financial costs associated with large treatment plans later on. The Academy of General Dentistry recommends twice yearly checkups for people of all ages. At this frequency, most problems can be caught while they remain in an early stage.
When treating a cavity, the dentist will remove the decayed portion of your tooth and fill it with another substance. This procedure is called a filling. There are multiple options for the material to be used in the filling, the most common of which are composite fillings and amalgam fillings. Office and equipment appeared clean and orderly. Staff was friendly and acted professionally. Appointment began at the specified time. All procedures were thoroughly explained before being started. There was no pressure to perform unnecessary procedures (filling replacements, caps, whitening, etc.).

I had one of the most wonderful experience. The reception is friendly and efficient. There are no hidden fee, they let you know upfront how much it is going to cost.
Victoria was so amazing, she not only did my cleaning but taught me so much about my teeth and mouth in general. Dr. Weitz is so nice and I had such a good interaction with her. I highly recommend this place, and I will be back in a few months !!

I am greatly appreciative of the entire staff at Dr. Emily Weitz dental office. I started here with many dental issues. They explain everything and take the fear out of the dental experience. Every referral to specialist has exceeded my expectations, as well. I can now have cleanings pain free. Thank you Dr. Emily!

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Weitz. Her staff was very welcoming and professional from my very first phone call to the office. My cleaning was thorough and gentle and Dr. Weitz took time during the exam to get to know me and any dental concerns I had. Dr. Weitz is an exceptional dentist and I am glad to have found her to be our family dentist for a long time!

I enjoyed my cleaning and check-up appointment from start till end. Dr. Weitz was extremely friendly and pleasant. The hygienists were also great and started my appointment shortly after I arrived (even though I was early). All in all, great place for routine dental visits for adults and kids because of their organized and friendly staff!

Full disclosure, I've known Emily through our book club long before she became my dentist once my previous one retired. So I'll tell you two things about her practice that are not subjective.
First of all, the various forms of payment she accepts are posted on a window in the waiting room, so you know before you see her what she'll take for payment. I took a photo of that window and have posted it here to Yelp.
Second, when I saw her about a problem I was having with an old cap and root canal done by my former dentist, she took the time to sit next to me and drew on some scrap

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Emily Weitz and her staff...
I've known her for a while now, and after needing her help as a dentist, discovered that her dentistry skills are super impressive, as is her thoughtfulness, professionalism and ability. Her staff has these same qualities, and overall, for my part, I'm her patient for life.
I recently had a dental emergency where I lost a whole crown. Dr. Weitz got me in fast, took stock of things and got me set up with a temporary crown and told me I'd have a new one inside of a week! Not only that, and this impressed
