The standard louver size for plantation shutters is 3 1/2. For your convenience, we can also custom make your shutters with 2 1/2" or 4 1/2" louvers as well. Yes we do. Not even after nine months, two of the shutters broke. one of the workers there offered a ten year warranty. when We went back to exchange the broken pieces, she refused to give it to us. She offered us a piece of plastic that is used to reinforce the blinds for THREE dollars a piece. We later bought a box of those reinforcements for only six bucks. Her attitude was condescending and accusing.

When I purchased my shutters, your company did not advise that you do not manufacture your own shutters and that any repairs would have to be shipped back to the actual manufacturer at my expense, including that I would have to personally disassemble the shutters and package up and ship back. Who would have expected this type of warranty service? The worst company to buy wood shutters. They quoted you one price but ended up charging a lot more ... hidden fees, or error on quote ...
They charged $15.99/sq but installed less expensive and inferior shutters betting consumers can't tell the difference.

Just yesterday I had twelve windows installed with Top Wood Shutters.
My house now looks like a million bucks! Cecilia was recommended by a friend and I found her very professional and accommodating (especially when I changed my order twice). The installers were amazing--prompt and efficient. Top Wood just might be the best deal in town.

You're telling a lie about my wife asking the repair right away. We never said that. We just complained three weeks too long. By the way, bet you never mention so called "company policy" when you sell your products made in China.
My wife told you the shutter might fall down really fast. And we have a kid at home. Actually the whole unit did fall down at the same day. You answered it's not your fault if that thing happens, even if we sue you. That's the reason she hang up the phone. No need to talk.

They put the shutters into my windows and I already paid them 50% of what I owe, but when it came time to pay the other half they only gave us 30 minutes to get the money and pay them but we needed a little bit longer than 30 minutes so they took the shutters down out of the windows and said they would put it back up when I pay and charge additional money.... they also did not do a good job of installing it and when we paid for the good quality shutters they gave us the bad quality ones. We didn't even get what we paid for.

I had an old wood shutter, of which a couple panels fell off. Thinking this might be too small a repair job, but still called Top Wood Shutter.
After emailing a picture over, Mr. Mike Zheng came a few days later, taking down the shutter and panels to be repaired in the factory. He came back the next day putting it back on. All is well now.
I appreciate Top Wood Shutter solving my problem albeit it was a small job. And Mr. Zheng was professional, on time and got the job done. Thank you.

I have been doing a major remodel on my house for about 1 year now and have had plumbers, electricians, dry wallers, painters, tile workers, etc., in my house. Amongst all of these numerous workers I have had in my home, the installers from Top Wood shutters are BY FAR THE WORST PEOPLE I have had to deal with. They were extremely rude, inconsiderate, messy, and worst of all, they argued with me and yelled at me with my with my wife, son, and father all in the house.

I was introduced here by a friend who got his house done three years back. It's located in a warehouse district so you have to look for the small parking lot with the entrance. They have a warehouse in the back but all the shutters are made in China, I believe. They offer different material composition but when buying shutters, the best is solid bass wood because its light but strong and pretty durable. Top Wood offers to stain their wood to match whatever you want (but at an extra charge) too. The standard ones come painted white.
