Changing with the seasons, we offer a variety of beautiful arrangements in a hand-woven coconut basket or in eco-friendly containers that are sure to please! Kings and minks are tucked into a background of scented eucalyptus highlighted with other flowers and greenery to make our wreaths a very special gift.

Anuhea Flowers was established in early 1994 when Bill and Judy Mertens leased 12.5 acres in beautiful upcountry Maui, Hawaii from a family they'd met through working in the Pineapple business together. They had a large acreage and were anxious to diversify from just cattle grazing and give Bill a chance to grow the flowers in a new environment and to ensure a future agricultural environment for their land.
Anuhea Flowers is made up of the two owners along with three employees to harvest, grade, and prepare our protea for delivery to our customers. They assist in assuring you the finest and best grown protea possible. Our staff has been with Anuhea Flowers for many years, and we are thankful for their loyalty and dedication to doing their best to ensure that only the finest quality flowers leave our farm for both retail and wholesale sales.
As a small, family owned and operated business, we believe it's of the upmost importance to give back to our community. Every month, a portion of our crops is donated to various individuals, organizations, and events. Non-profit organizations silent auction fundraising or floral arrangements for these events in and out of state.
We love to host tours on the Anuhea Flowers Farm and have future plans to do this regularly! In the meantime, reach out to us if you're interested in a private farm tour! Proteas flourish on the slopes of Haleakala in upcountry Maui as though they were born out of the rich Hawaiian soil. Though Proteas are not native to Hawaii, they have become a large part of Hawaii's exotic flower industry and an enduring symbol grace and hospitality. Anuhea Farm is located in Olinda at an elevation of 2,300 feet where the climate is very favorable for growing the finest Protea.

My family ordered me a beautiful holiday wreath for my December birthday and it is the perfect gift…..I love it!!!!! We were able to visit the protea gardens in Anuhea a couple years ago and I fell in love with these beautiful and unique flowers. Looking forward to enjoying them through the holidays. I cannot say enough positive things about Anuhea Flowers and the people who make it all possible. My grandmother is in her 90's and will not ever make it back to Hawaii which was her favorite place in the world. During the pandemic she was moved into a nursing home and our family has not been able to see her. When her birthday came in January, I tried to think of something I could send that would bring her a smile and fill her with great joyful memories. The islands of Hawaii! I made a call and explained the situation to a wonderful gal... not really sure of what I was looking for but just

I ordered the 8 stem fresh cut protea to make a bridal bouquet for my daughter. It was shipped all the way from HI to NY and received the flower in less than 48 hours! Emily and her crew were helpful, professional, and on top of that - generous. They granted my requests of pink mink proteas to add to the king protea and even added extra pin cushioned proteas! Love the flowers! I will be posting pictures of the bridal bouquet!

I ordered proteas to be delivered to our hotel room in Maui. It was our anniversary and I wanted to surprise my wife. She loves proteas. The price was very, very reasonable especially compared to other flower shops in the area. The arrangement was beautiful and included a packing box so we can bring it back to Oahu. I emailed Judy a message to put on the card and WOW, it was handwritten in a very beautiful handwriting. I'm guessing this was Judy's handwriting. I spoke to her a couple of times on the phone and she was very pleasant, helpful and has a great attitude...Highly recommended

Initially on the receiving end, I can attest Anuhea protea arrive crisp, moist, and tender no matter the distance. Judy takes great care in packaging, allowing her arrangements to last several weeks. I've now been an annual customer of Anuhea for 4yrs. Judy caters to personal requests in protea selection (something not often seen with pre-selected arrangements), often selecting flowers from gardens the very day your flowers are to ship. Very recently, I was able to add fresh lavender to an arrangement. That said, it would be nice to see a modern/artistic note to arrangements in the future

Best floral arrangements, beautiful choices, wonderful service! I ordered the Tradewinds basket for my daughter's birthday and it was so fantastic! Very special, unique to Maui, Hawaii fresh, in a palm leave basket. Service and selection couldn't be better. Judy was so kind and helpful, very positive and highly recommend this wonderful florist.

Ordered a tropical arrangement for my mom for Mother's Day and I couldn't be happier with the flowers. I have sent her flowers in the past and am always disappointed that they look nothing like the picture online. Anuhea flowers was different.
