Our arrangements are created with fresh tropical flowers grown right here on Maui. We service resort lobbies regularly, create centerpieces for events and parties, design tasteful arrangements for the home or office, and decorate wedding ceremonies with our tropical flower arrangements. Maui flower favorites that are commonly used are Bird of Paradise, Protea, Anthuriums, Dendrobium and other Orchids, and Hawaiian Ginger.
We'd like to create something special for your event, convention, banquet or cocktail reception while you're on Maui. Please call us to discuss ideas for your needs. We do centerpieces, floral party favors, gift baskets, special decor and more. Fukushima Flowers strives to make your event beautiful and to do something unique just for you.
Fukushima Flowers prides itself on our creativity. In addition to flowers and baskets, we'll do our best to make your event or gift distinctive and extraordinary. We hand make our shell frames. They are most commonly used in our Honeymoon Package. However, since you customize the message, they can be used for any thoughtful occasion.
I use Terrie because she consistently provides us with unique and high quality local Maui products. My parents were visiting Lahaina during one of their birthdays, and after contacting Terrie with just a few days notice—the very week of—she was willing to put together an incredible bouquet. Not to mention: Terrie suggested delivering it early, worked with the hotel to do so, and even returned a few days later in-person with packaging to allow my parents to take the bouquet back home with them. This was all out of her own initiative—not on request. She clearly cares.

Terrie was so helpful, kind, and lovely to work with. She made the most perfect bouquet for my wedding day. I want to share how much I enjoyed working with Terrie for my bridal bouquet and lei for my husband -- she put so much thought and effort into getting exactly what I wanted and more on such short notice (not to mention during a pandemic). She was prompt to respond, asked the right questions, and was so attentive to my taste. We were so thankful we stumbled across Terrie right before we went with another florists. She was so kind, accommodating, and genuinely helped us put our money towards things that were necessary. We could tell that Terrie was working from her heart and not from a place of profits or just sales; which meant the world to us because we were already wayyyy over our wedding budget.
She worked extremely hard to make sure we were happy; we felt bad that she would even take our calls after hours and while she was in her car. Every time we spoke

Fukushima Flowers did an amazing job with my flower crown.I had a last minute wedding, literally called them 3 days prior to the wedding and they were able to create an absolutely beautiful and elegant flower crown for me.

Honestly, a little disappointed. My husband and I decided that we wanted to do a beach destination wedding in Maui, Hawaii. We utilized a planner and he recommended that we use Fukushima Flowers for our flowers. He contacted Terri, the owner, a couple weeks before the wedding with my ideas. Terri reached out to me and we discussed on the phone what I wanted in great detail. Ultimately deciding on a cascading bouquet, a boutonniere, a hairpiece and some table decor. She was very through and helpful...Day of wedding arrives. I recieve my beautiful boutonniere and hairpiece and they are gorgeous.

When I was on the hunt for locating a florist for my wedding, I happened to stumbled upon this gem that I address as Mrs.Terrie. I sent her an initial email with my desired flowers need and inspiration. She replied immediately and scheduled a phone call. Oh my gosh Terri! I don't even know where to begin. When my brother's wedding planner fell through 12 days before the reception, I was out scrambling and looking for another florist to do the event for us. That's when I found Terri on Yelp! I am so lucky to have found her! She was delightful, took time to talk to me about my style, and was the sweetest person. Originally, I was planning to have flowers arranged ourselves (bridesmaids and matrons)...but with only 10 days before the wedding, that plan was falling apart. I found Terrie on Yelp. She had such great reviews. I reached out to Terrie for leis, a haku lei and bouquet for our vow renewal ceremony in Maui. I didn't really know what I wanted when I first reached out to her other than "something simple". She gave me really great recommendations. She was the sweetest most nicest person when I met her. Even though our interaction was brief, she just has this vibe like she's part of your family.

Terrie is AMAZING. She was excited in the planning with me as if I was her daughter and she wanted me to have the best... but also keeping my budget in mind. She has the kindest spirit and after speaking to her for five minutes, I knew I didn't have to look any further.
My husband and I decided to get married two weeks before our wedding date of May 3rd. I planned everything in 48 hours and without wonderful people like Terrie to help, that would not have been possible. Terri is just the best! I have been working with her over the last few Mother's Days to help celebrate my mom who lives on the West Side. My brother and I try to make her day special even though we are far away, in California. Terrie always knocks it out of the park, makes an amazing arrangement, in our budget, that lasts literally weeks. My mom cherishes the flowers and we love the cheer it brings with us being so far away. This year she was even able to help us on short notice and deliver the arrangement in record time. We will use her as long as my mom is in Maui and will tell other friends

I am overly pleased!!! Terrie did a fantastic job. I ordered surprise flowers for my son and wife to "greet" them when they checked in for their honeymoon. Terrie was very accommodating and we had a wonderful chat. Well, my son called me and I asked if he got the surprise and he said NO. I was devastated. It was 5AM in Hawaii so I didn't want to call Terrie. I left an email and at around 6AM Maui time, Terrie called me back. She had already contacted the hotel and it turns out that the hotel put the gorgeous arrangement in the cooler because my son and wife weren't checking in until later that

Terrie Fukushima is an awesome florist, awesome human, and amazing wedding vendor! She was able to quickly put me at ease when I talked to her. Terrie knows how to ask all the right questions and how to coordinate everything PERFECTLY, so from our first call she was already able to start telling me ideas and help clarify my vision. Based on our discussion I knew I was in good hands since I could tell she was an expert. She asked about my color scheme, and asked to see pictures of my dress and the bridesmaid dresses, since she tweaks her flowers to details like that.

Terri did the best job with the flowers for my wedding!!! When asked "what do your flowers look like" from friends and family my only response was "tropical". Terri understood I wanted to show the beauty of the islands in my flowers. I got so many compliments on the haku lei, table pieces, and bouquet.
I also emailed Terrie a few weeks before the wedding asking her to use blue ribbon to hold my bouquet together as my "something blue". She did it with no problem!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I ordered a floral arrangement by phone to be delivered to our hotel room the day we arrived in Maui for our 2nd honeymoon trip! Terrie did a fantastic job on the arrangement and it was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived. Beautiful tropical arrangement at a reasonable price and excellent service! We were so lucky to have found Terrie, she was recommended to me by our photographer. After reaching out to two other florists that seemed totally uninterested in doing flowers for our wedding, I contacted Terrie. She was fantastic! She gave me suggestions while still keeping in mind what I envisioned. Super sweet and very professional. She took care of not only the flowers but designed the entire table decor.
