Before you read on to all the professionally written content, I wanted to give a quick rundown of what I'm all about, in my own words. I grew up in this area, working construction from the age of 11 through college with my dad. I learned the value of hard work from an early age, and tried my best in school knowing that construction was not something I wanted to pursue.
Throughout my life, I've had dental issues: cavities as a child, root canals, crowns, braces, wisdom teeth, the whole shebang. I know how it feels to be in the chair and I know that it's not something that people look forward to. I went into the dental field as a way to help others as I have been helped, and strive to do even better than those that have helped me along the way.

The best dental office I've ever been to! They are kind, professional, and thorough. The staff makes it qn easy and pleasurable experience and the dentist is very knowledgeable when it came to my specific issue. The woman who cleaned my teeth did such a great job! The other offices I've been to the cleanings were ok, but this was the best cleaning I've ever had!

Dental work terrifies me, but I've always felt very comfortable and at ease while visiting this location. Everyone is very friendly and clearly explains what's going on. Every procedure I've had has been completely painless, including major work. The is honestly the best dentist I have ever been to.

I had a dental emergency on a Saturday. Not having a dentist here in Pittsburgh I called around hoping someone could see me. The moment I talked to the receptionist I felt at ease. She got me in to see the dentist within the hour. They were all so friendly and really helped me. I will now be going back regularly for all my dental needs. AMAZING!

Had my first appointment here today and was so pleased with my choice to go here. Jill is so incredibly helpful and quick with answers to questions about billing and insurance. The hygienists were both kind and made the stressful task of going to the dentist totally painless. And Dr. Martik was great! I never thought I would look forward to the dentist.

Cherie was awesome when she cleaned my teeth! Really friendly and did a fantastic job making me feel not anxious. Dr. Martik was very nice and addressed all my concerns. The front desk staff was also very friendly. I was able to get a fast appointment compared to other offices I've tried and they have really great hours. I'd recommend this office to anyone!

I have been going to see Dr Martik since he took over the practice. The quality and performance has been above my expectations. I was a little skeptical at first because I did love my previous dentist but Dr Martik has won my confidence. I have had some work done (a crown) and actually it was painless. I would highly recommend Dr Martik and staff as your family dentist. You won't be sorry!

I had an emergency situation and happened to call on the 1 Saturday that they were open and they got me in on that Monday. Dr. Martik was wonderful and the staff was super nice. They made sure I was comfortable and kept asking if I was okay. No waiting at all. I found my new dentist and I'm going to get all of my future dental work done there.

I went in as a new patient and had the best experience at a dentist that I have ever had anywhere. Every single staff in the office were wonderful, thoughtful, caring, kind and so friendly. They all went above and beyond. They were all so personable and did everything and then some to help me. I had a filling done and it was painless. It was also fast. I am very afraid of the dentist and thanks to these wonderful people today, I no longer am. I highly, highly recommend Martik Family Dental to anyone and everyone! Great dental practice!

When Doctor Martik took over the practice, he embraced the staff who had supported Dr. Mecs and Dr. Crane for years. He also embraced the standards of professionalism and friendliness that was a trademark of the practice for years. It's always a shock when a trusted caregiver retires. Very happy with my decision to visit Martik Family Dental. The office is warm and welcoming, very well-kept. I was overdue for a visit, but my cleaning with Cherie was comfortable and thorough - my teeth feel fabulously clean. Dr. Martik also helped me with a chipped tooth, after explaining a few options. He is friendly, professional, and on time. The office was able to schedule my initial appointment about two weeks out from when I called. I went ahead and scheduled my next appointment since I feel I've found a great office providing quality care.

I had a crown replaced this morning. Dr Martik did an excellent job. He kept me informed throughout the procedure. When adjusting the new crown he listened to me intently and took all the time it needed to make the crown feel comfortable in my mouth. The office staff is awesome and caring. I have spent many, many hours in dentists' chairs going back into the 1960's. The progress the dental profession has made over the years was on display during my procedure today.
The whole process was explained to me in detail before we got started. Once it was underway, I was fascinated by the technical advances in modern dentistry. The skill Dr. Martik displayed in their application impressed me greatly.
My comfort level was monitored constantly, and I can honestly say that I had a pleasant visit. This certainly wasn't the unpleasant type of dental experience I had as a kid.
