Jennifer is incredible! Not only do you leave feeling beautiful with the excellent service provided but also well cared for and educated. She has a gentle, painless technique with waxing and I appreciate her attention to detail. Jennifer also has a wealth of knowledge beyond the basics. Honu You offers the latest in products, services and techniques. The best kept secret in Kailua for skin care to waxing services to massages.

Be careful of writing a truthful review with a bad rating because you may get a cease and desist letter to have you remove your review like I did. Owner seems to act very emotionally and have ego issues.
I immediately removed my review once I finally received a refund for a service I did not receive. No harm no foul right? Except she felt the need to take that extra step of paying laywers to draft a letter to me.

2 stars are for the wax job ! That was amazing and I would have gone back each month for years to come . The owner did a fantasist job .
However the front desk/ phone customer service is terrible .
Needed to cancel my monthly FU apt due to a cold and asked for an apt a couple of days later (3 days ) now they wanted charge me the full waxing price (double ) and not the FU price ... no discussions !
Also the FU price as discussed with front desk before my first waxing apt now was raised to a much higher price !
Front desk person told me she she texted me the wrong price . Asked for the owner

First of all I think Jennifer is one of my favorite business owners in Kailua! I have not known her long and so far I've only gone a couple of times for my brows (which she exceeds my expectations every time). I am VERY picky with who i let near my face especially if they are holding wax or tint! She is a wealth of knowledge and genuinely cares about finding a skin care solution for you. From what I've gathered it seems like she gets to know each and every client skin type/personality you name it and creates a personalized experience every time you come in. Its not just wax on wax off

Owned and operated by Jennifer. She is extremely knowledgeable and competent in her field. Her expertise is unmatched and appreciated by all clients. I have skin issues and Jennifer is always aware and works with me when it comes to waxing.

This is my second visit to this place to purchase Jane Iredale makeup. Unfortunately, this will be the last time.
I walked in to purchase the makeup and realized I was given the whole compact instead of the refill. $52 versus $40 is a big difference.
Sad to say the owner refused to refund me my money. Saying "they don't refund Jane Iredale". I just left your office 5 minutes ago!!What lousy customer service !!! I can't comment on their actual services but I can tell you how disappointed I was to receive this type of poorly lack of customer service.

I called on new years day trying to get a last minute appointment. I called several other places, perhaps they were closed or busy, but I got no response.
They answered my call on the third ring which I really appreciated. I hate waiting on the phone when I know someone is open!
It is a bit pricey, but tax is not added to them and there is a no tipping policy. What you see is what you get.
They walked me through and even recommended the best time to get waxed so as to reduce sensitivity. I can tell they care about their customers

I am so happy I found Hono You spa! They are amazing! Jen is so profession, talented and passionate! She knows the importance of a great wax and takes the extra measures to ensure you are treated with the High caliber and attention to detail you deserve! My search is over! I've been a client of Honu You now for years. Beware... once you get your eyebrows done by Jen you will never be able to go anywhere else ever again... she's excellent! They also have a great selection of products. Jen, who is the owner, and has been in the spa business for a long time can make great suggestions if you have trouble skin like me.

I called Honu You to arrange a Mother's Day treat for the women in my group and they were very helpful in working around the logistics of our trip. I also took them up on their services and my experience was amazing. The massage style was Lomilomi (traditional Hawaiian) and the therapist was very attentive. The esthetician had 19 years of experience and it showed--the treatment was very thorough and tailored specifically to my skin. Everyone else in our party had a great experience, too.
