Mold most commonly grows in bathrooms, basements, and anywhere else where there is dampness or water. You cannot see, feel, smell, or taste radon. Testing your home is the only way to know if you and your family are at risk. The Environmental Protection Agency and the Surgeon General recommend testing for radon in all rooms below the third floor. Mr. Dean was amazing!! We just moved to DC, and this was our first home purchase. He took his time on the inspection, and explained everything to us. He even went to bat for us when something needed to be addressed that the builder pushed back on. A year later, he was still supportive when I had questions. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Dean.

Can’t speak highly enough about JB Discovery Inspection praises high enough
Dean was available on short notice for a home inspection in a situation where our contingency was about to end. Found a few issues and showed us throughout the rest of the house why we should be confident that it was built properly.

My wife and I are considering selling our condo and we also had pipes replaced. We wanted to have inspection done to identify any issues that could impact a sale and, specifically, provide a second opinion on the pipe replacement to ensure that quality work was done.
This inspection was one of the most thorough and detailed I have ever experienced. He not only did an in-depth assessment, he took the time to walk my wife and me with him to explain his findings and answer questions. He spent time in bathrooms, the washer closet, the water heater room, etc. He even went into the crawl space above
