Castles Preschool is the #1 Preschool Center in Chico. Our program starts with excellent teachers and a superior staff. Your child will enjoy their time with our well trained staff. They will learn and establish good fundamentals and the key building blocks to excel in school. We look forward to giving you a tour of our facilities and enrolling your child in our program.
Services
Castles is dedicated to working with children and families to best meet your child's daily needs. We allow parents to build their own schedules with flexibility. We welcome children of all ages. We provide a loving and nurtured atmosphere with age appropriate structure that allows your child to grow and learn.
Our school age program is split up into two main areas. We have our Kindergarteners, and first through sixth graders. Transportation is provided for children to and from school. We coordinate all Chico schools and have bus routes that allow children to be dropped off and picked up on time. Our Kindergarteners have homework time, outside time, and general subject activities that are fun and interesting.
Castles Preschool offers an infant program that not only meets the needs of your infants, but allows them to be on their own schedule. We provide formula, cereals, and foods for infants under one year, as well as a full menu for those that are 1-2 years old. The babies are on their own sleeping and eating schedules, and those who are 1-2 years start to be on the same eating and sleeping schedule for their later transition to our 2 year old room.

A great place for kids. I have two there with the oldest being there for more than two years now. Too many wonderful care providers to mention them all but Muyassar, Michelle, and Ms. Katie are my son's "favorites" and mine too. Although they all deserve praise. I feel safe leaving my kids there and always get a happy and educated child back at the… end of the day. We toured many preschools in town and Castles is the best. Director Stephanie is always attentive and pleasant and addresses any concerns you have. It's a family environment and I see care providers staying there for years. If

No problems here! We had to find something in a hurry for my daycare. Mother in law was injured and unable to watch my 21 month old.
Stephanie, the director was very understanding and supportive. She made room for 3 full days of coverage immediately.
When we told her our coverage plan had changed, she was flexible with us again.
As to the caretakers, the 4-5 ladies I met and interacted with have all been extremely caring, encouraging, and supportive as well. They interacted well with my child and gave me daily progress reports on all his behaviors and meals. They log when he eats, what he eats

Its oka. Would I recommend this place? No, not for infant though. Maybe of 2yrs old and up.
I had to remove my 4months old daughter after a month. I was warned by friends that they didn't like it. but i decided to take a chance bc everyone has their preferences.
I see why now. Some of the staff don't respect the parents wishes. I've told them not to microwave my daughter's breast milk, and then I caught one of the staff removing it out from the microwave.
I did liked the morning lady that works in the infant room. I think she's German. I can;t remember her name. Everything

My son has been at castles preschool for 5 months and he has grown so much since his attendance has started. I am very pleased with the staff in that they greet me Every time I drop off my son. Usually he isn't happy when I leave and they take the time to console him to make it easier for me to leave. I also like the fact that I can drop him off at 6am and pick him up at 6pm and the cost is very affordable. I really like the staff and the facility is very clean. I always know that when I drop my son off, he is in the best care. I would recommend this daycare to all my friends and family.
