Our Family Caring for Your Family - Locally owned and operated by a mother/daughter team, that has worked their entire careers in healthcare, Legato Living offers an alternative to institutional care. For the cognitively impaired, the size of the care environment does matter. Large group settings can be over stimulating and often overwhelming for those suffering the confusion of dementia.
Legato Living (Formerly ComfortCare Homes of NE) has always focused on improving/or maintaining the quality of life for its Residents. We work to meet the physical, emotional, and medical needs of our Residents suffering from memory impairment. In our endeavors to provide quality care to our Residents, our staff will monitor the following: sleep habits, nutritional intake, vital signs and symptoms involving mood changes.
People with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia show symptoms of cognitive impairment. At Legato Living we help our Residents cope with such problems by meeting them where they are at in the journey. By continuously monitoring the physical, emotional, and medical requirements of our Residents we are able to give them the love and attention they need to lead a peaceful life.
She provides coordination of your loved ones care through written and verbal communication between families, residents, their physicians and pharmacy. The Licensed nurse is also responsible for the training and oversight of the Medication Aides and Nurse Aides that provide the daily cares in the homes.
To achieve this, we strive to help all Residents to continue to enjoy some of their most memorable and beautiful moments of life. During the initial admission process we obtain an activity and social history for all of our Residents. Our caregivers use this information to plan activities and programs in which Residents take part.

Our mother has lived at Legato Living for over two years and we can not say enough good things about her care! This type of residential care is absolutely the closest environment to being able to stay in your own home. If our mother wants to sleep in and have her breakfast later in the morning, this is not a problem. If she wakes up during the night, she can watch a movie and have a snack with the night time staff. This smaller environment provides a great staff/resident ratio. Legato Living is under excellent leadership/administration with Erin and Jill. They are professional, caring, educated

Legato Living provides excellent care for my mom. The place and residents are always clean. Her location has been recently remodeled. I love the family type residential atmosphere with limited number of residents which allow the caregivers and owners, Jill and Erin, to know her very well. I get calls or texts whenever there is a concern and photos sent when they are having fun. I don’t think she would receive better care anywhere else!!!!!

I loved the care my mom received at Comfort Care Homes. She was treated with respect and always loved on. When my mom moved into Comfort Care Homes its like we joined a family. The caregivers there are simply the best. My mom and her room were always clean and tidy. Finding this place for my mom was such a blessing.
