Breakthroughs Counseling & Recovery Inc. offers a variety of counseling services including (but not limited to): Counseling for general mental health, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, marriage and family (including pre-marital counseling), LGBTQ, bariatric counseling, and military & families counseling; An intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP) for drug and alcohol abuse/ dependence; An adolescent (teen) intensive outpatient program for drug and alcohol abuse/ dependence; And a family support group for those affected by an alcoholic or addict in their lives.

An assessment is required to determine appropriate level of services (listed below) for the person with the substance abuse or addiction issue. Our staff is trained to provide thorough substance abuse and mental health assessments and will make referrals to appropriate levels of services.

IOP groups consist of education about drugs and alcohol, relapse prevention, and substance abuse & mental health counseling. Groups meet 4-5 days per week for 3 hour sessions.

This drug is a "party drug" and users frequently take it to help reduce inhibitions and to promote euphoria, feelings of closeness, empathy, and sexuality.
We work closely with the Northeast Florida Safety Council as well as out of town Safety Councils to ensure that you meet all requirements to have your driver's license re-instated. We will also coordinate your counseling with your attorney or other people who require information about your care. We offer substance abuse counseling for individuals who have received a DUI.
