Our staff is following the recommended CDC guidelines- safe distances & sanitizer available for use. All staff are wearing gloves, face masks and the shop is wiped down with disinfectant frequently each day. Services
Our services staff are professionally trained and certified to work on all bicycle makes and models, not just the ones we sell. Each year we send our technicians to training sessions by Shimano, SRAM, RockShok to name a few and other manufacturers to keep up with the latest equipment. Each bike is cared for like it belongs to a family member or loved one.
The Wheel Nuts Team is the heart and soul of our shop. We love biking and we love to share our passion. You are the reason we are here, and we want to treat you with statement of "Wow" service. We could have shared a long winded bio of each team member but instead we wanted to be a bit fun and let you know more than the boring stuff like our degrees, and every single accomplishment.

Wheel Nuts offers road bikes, hybrids, kid bikes and tot trailers for the whole family to enjoy. Our hybrids are by far the most popular bike to explore the region's trails. They are upright comfort oriented bicycles with plush saddles, have 21 gears to manage any terrain and 700c wheels for efficient rolling.
Very scenic trail that runs along the Potomac River to George Washington's estate at Mount Vernon. Recommended ride for visitors. Chesapeake & Ohio Towpath: 184 Miles - Natural Surface One of the nicest trails in the area, it runs from Washington DC all the way to Cumberland, MD. Watch for future extension to Pittsburgh, PA!

Great customer service here. They were fast and efficient and actually helped me it with two of my bikes.
I had a broken spoke and they fixed it very quickly. My other bike was having a problem with the rear derailleur and they fixed that very quickly as well - when I was onsite!

Isaac R. was helpful and nice. He took the time to explain why I would want one bike lock over another and which helmet would be best for the amount of cycling I do. I also had him look at my bike, which he did a free assessment and the for a small fee fixed an issue I was having.
I would recommend using Wheel Nuts Bike Shop. I wish they had a larger inventory, but other than that, awesome!

My bike rental experience with Ethan was excellent. On the way there, I called the shop just to make sure there was availability. Ethan was able to confirm availability, get our heights over the phone, and have the bikes ready to go by the time we arrived. Only a few minutes filling out a form and a quick rundown of what the bikes were equipped with and we were on our way. Just an overall easy and pleasant experience!

Both Issac and Ray did an excellent job on repairing my bikes! One bike had 2 blown spokes and they quickly diagnosed and replaced the broken spokes. Another bike had bad hydraulic fluid in the brakes and they were able to drain and replace the hydraulic fluid so my brakes on my bike now work. Excellent work!

After going to Wheel Nuts Bike Shop today, I won’t be going anywhere else. Luke gave me outstanding customer service - he was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond, helping me take my bike off the rack on my car and putting it back on after, my tire was grinding against my tire guard and he adjusted it so quickly, free of charge. I asked him to replace my brake pads and it took no time at all. He helped the other clients efficiently and with a positive demeanor. Anytime I want to fix up my bike or upgrade, I’ll be here, supporting local!
