At Arrow Bicycle, we are commited to providing outstanding customer satisfaction through superior customer service. In addition to sales and service we offer group rides and different levels of fit services.
Services
Please explore and ask a lot of questions. We believe that biking is more than a form of exercise; it is an experience, an adventure, a journey. We want to help you make the most of your biking adventure. Arrow Bicycle is the realization of the dream of a couple of guys who like to ride. After years managing other DC area bike shops, we jumped at the chance to open a new bike shop in our own neighborhood.
This is a great maintenance package which will make your bike mechanically sound and set for the season. This service will require you to leave your bike with us unless other arrangements are made. If you have a tight schedule, feel free to set up an appointment for expedited service (a fee will apply).
This is our specialty. Our Service Team out does themselves on this one making your bike look brand new! They start by power washing all of the dirt, grease, and grime off of the frame, wheels, and tires (which goes a long way for a bike that just came off the trails). Next they de-grease the drive-train which knocks off all of the grease/dirt that has built up over time and hard miles.
Skratch Labs Anytime Energy Bar is made with real ingredients such as fruits, nuts and quinoa. It has enough fuel to power you through endurance workouts and is tasty enough to be used as a snack any time of day. Giant's Control Patch Kit consists of 2 tire levers, 6 glueless patches, 4 vulcanized/glue patches, a tube of glue and some sandpaper.
On endless stretches of roadway, the Norco Valence A 24 invites your junior to get comfortable for the long haul. Its light and responsive aluminum frame dampens vibration through arcing seat stays, while the oversized downtube, bottom bracket shell, and broad chainstays efficiently transmit rider input for explosive acceleration.

This is a very minor issue, but today I needed a 700x20-25 standard presta tube, Giant brand, and it cost $12 at Arrow. Comparable standard tubes of assorted brands cost $7.95-$8.95 at REI, and I'd expect no more than $9-10 at other bike shops. Ergo, Arrow's markup is 10-20% too high. Lower your prices!
Note: I've taken my bike here for service in the past and I was satisfied; I would not hesitate to return. But I'll try to buy my supplies from other stores from now on.

Hyattsville community, let it be known... the folks at Arrow Bicycle are Good Folks.
I crossed paths with a woman and her two (not super happy) young kids a bit over a mile west of the shop today. They had a flat and were in a tough spot. I had some time to help out so I headed to Arrow to buy a tube and pump and explained the situation. Trevor let me borrow a pump and insisted that the tube was on them, no charge.
Arrow Bicycle is a great bike shop in the best way a bike shop can be great. They're the kinda shop that's willing to step up and help out when a bicyclist is in a rough situation

This place is great! Clean, spacious, and most importantly competent. My tires have been down for over 4 months. I tried to pump them up at home, but it didn't happen. I came to arrow for assistance. The staff helped me immediately, were friendly, knowledgeable, and my tires are now pumped up.

I will definitely come back anytime I need something for my bike.

One of the guys did note they didn't have very many bikes. If you're looking to get a bicycle they had some nice ones but only a few.

I've gotten my bike serviced here when I'm in town and they did an...ok job. Called them up to get a box to fly with...they decided to charge me for the box after I drive thirty minutes to pick it up. It's the little things and I don't like being lied to. Nah...I won't be going back , ever!!

Nice folks. Bought in old Schwinn bike. Told them tires were bad. I had ordered inner tunes and tires but the tires never came in
They said bike was good to go. I had look at the tires and saw clear damage but they assured me they just needed inflation. Took back on trail and immediately front tire flattened out exposing inner tube and rubbing against mud fenders. I had to walk it back to car. Just wished they had listened to me.

Charged too much for repairs: $100 for a simple brake pad replacement, and $200-250 for wheel replacement.

I bought a bike from this shop about a month ago. 2 weeks after having the bike the rear brake stopped working. Even after bleeding it only one piston would move nor matter what I tried. Instead of driving 40 minutes and being left without my bike for an indiscriminate amount of time, I replace the brake myself. Just this week I have noticed a creaking sound as I pedal. I suspect the bottom bracket is loose. Save yourself the time and buy from somewhere else.

While the place is neat and clean. Its just a tad to high brow for me right now.. This an interim activity for which I am unwilling to commit $1200. While I am above Walmart I am we'll below these guys. I read some reviews on other platforms. The guy who helped me was not rude but he was no salesman either. From $0.00 (nothing in stock) to $1200 hybrid to $2400 electric bike its appears they have a demographic into which I clearly don't fit. If I tell you I haven't been on a bike in 40+ years and those prices are your only option, clearly states I'm in the wrong place...but its a nice place. While

Bad experience!!!!
Wasn't sure if my bike tire needed only air, or to repair it. The person that helped me tolled me off the bat ,without checking the tire,he was going to change the tube ,I was in a hurry so I tolled him it's fine. He comes back and says he doesn't have the part in stock, I asked him if he could check if it just needed air. He did so,and it actually only needed air.
It's unprofessional to "assume" it needs a new tube so they can charge more money when a tire just needs air. Never going back!!
Don't go there they will try to rip you off!!!

After reading all the great reviews, I was really surprised at Arrow's customer service. I brought my bike in last Thursday for a new tire and tube after running over some glass, and wanted a new chain and a tune up while it was in the shop. When I came in, the mechanic talked loudly about the condition of my bike like I wasn't there ("What does she want? Yeah, I don't have to look at it to know it needs a new chain. It's gone. Bet this has been in the shed for a few years!"). Only one employee wore a mask. All three employees in the shop seemed to be inconvenienced by my presence to drop off my

I was referred to Arrow by a friend and so far I'm loving this bike shop! The people are friendly and knowledgeable. I think I've gone to make purchases at least three times in the last three weeks. I initially went for a tune up and since I received awesome service I can't stay away. I would definitely recommend this bike shop to everyone!

I went with this shop due to all of the positive reviews. They charged my wife $108.00 to convert her tires to tubeless. I was quote $30 per tire over the phone and I provided the liquid. That's an awful lot of money for valve stems and tape. Both tires had a steady leak when she got them home. I ended up having to apply more sealant and fix them myself. If you have a mountain bike I suggest getting it serviced elsewhere.

Chris and Chris have always treated me amazingly. I came in over the weekend to have two tires fixed on my pull behind trailer. They had me out of there in 20 mins and the price was more than fair. I've never had to wait for service and they have exceptional knowledge about their craft. Truly a gem in our community. I really appreciate you guys!

Popped in to get my back brakes fixed. The guys in there were excellent. Replaced my back brake pads right then and there for a very reasonable cost. I was in and out in 10 minutes, and they even told me about a new trail to try. Would definitely come back!

I spent my first year out of college living in LA, and decided to take up surfing. So my roommate and I visited a local surf shop to grab wax for our Costco foam board, a beacon of the newbie (or "kook," in surf speak). While checking out, we struck up a conversation with the sales rep and casually asked what beach he surfed. "Sorry bro... locals only."

Cycling is not surfing. It's decidedly more accessible/practical and appreciably less cool. This is both why I like it and why I'm consistently frustrated to find bike shops touting the "locals only" vibe

Arrow Bicycle took a look right away and replaced it on the spot.

I am extremely surprised by their five star rating. My husband took his bike in for service and was told they could fix it, however, minutes later called him back and said they would not be able to. When he went to go pick up the bike, the owner of the store came out and told him he should just get a completely new bike and that his bike was pretty much a piece of sh*t.

As much as I hate to write this review because I'm usually a big fan of boutique shops, I am extremely disappointed with their lack of professionalism.

Obviously, we will not be going here for our biking needs. And yes

I found this place on yelp and as usual I was not disappointed. They were able to revive my old bike and even hooked me up with the handle grips for free at no charge. I was charged a resonable price.

After I got my bike back out the gear housing broke and I had to return it, but that was rider error.

Thank you gentlemen.

I feel like the people below me had great experiences because they were paying/buying new bikes.

Let me clarify. I won a basic tune-up ($90 value) in a raffle at a local, Hyattsville 5K for charity. I was ecstatic because even though I ride a single-speed, and can do maintenance at home, I thought it would be nice to have a professional check it out..

First, when I arrived, the guy who wrote the gift certificate had an off-putting attitude. That's okay maybe he's having a bad day, I thought. Then I'm told I have to leave my bike for two days, weird for a fixie, but still okay.

Chris and his staff are second to none.

I had a fantastic experience! I learned a whole lot, got all of my questions (mostly incredibly basic ones) answered thoroughly and patiently and left with a bike that I'm extremely happy with (Giant's invite). I'll be back very soon for service, since they will take care of any bike maintenance issues that arise within the first year.

Can I just say that I FINALLY found a bike that I feel comfortable on? So excited! I really did need an XS all this time but kept ending up on mediums and smalls. And - that is a miracle. As someone who has

Really great customer customer service. Neither my husband or I had owned bikes in many years, but as soon as we told them our price point and the type if riding we would be doing, they recommended a few options. We went on a few test rides before each finding bikes that we love at prices we could afford. Best part? The bikes come with a year of free maintenance and since this is our neighborhood shop we can ride them in for tune ups.
