Our Pastry Team creates exquisite and sinfully delicious cakes and confections. Each creation is a work of art! Catering Works was incorporated in 1989. What started as an idea to start a chocolate truffle company in our Mom's kitchen turned into something else indeed. Within a few months time, we leased a small building on the corner of Devereaux and Gaston street, in downtown Raleigh.
The humble beginnings of our company included a small apartment on the 2nd floor, and a non-stop rotation of laundering linens, washing pots, delivering food, staffing parties, writing invoices and trying to meet new clients, and all while averaging 20 minutes a night of sleep.In August of 1992, the firm moved to Tryon Hill Drive, just behind Goodnight's comedy club and the Irregardless restaurant.

When we were planning our wedding, we kept hearing from other vendors that Catering Works was the best. We ended up hiring them, and I’m so glad we did. They were so professional and responsive. They made sure my husband and I got food throughout the night and they were so kind! I’d highly recommend them for any event, but especially a wedding!

Kelli and her staff at Catering Works were amazing for our Wedding Day! They took care of every details...and the food was delicious. We had wine, a champaign toast, appetizers, international food stations, dessert and of course, a delicious wedding cake! Our guests raved at how delicious the food was. Kelli met with me numerous times and the week before the wedding, she and her team were a part of our "vendor coordination" group meeting to ensure all of our vendors and the venue were in sync. We used Catering Works for both our wedding and rehearsal dinner, October 2021. We worked directly with Kelli for both events and she made the process so, so, so easy. She made sure we had thought of certain things that we never would have - and she went out of her way to help. The food was also INCREDIBLE. I had several people text me after our reception to ask for the recipe for a few things, and especially for the signature drink recipe. I would 100% use them in the future.

We used Catering Works for our wedding in September 2021 and worked with Kelli Harrison. She is terrific - very detailed/organized, patient, kind, and always answered our questions in a timely manner. Additionally, she worked with us to help move our wedding twice due to COVID-19 (which says a lot). The food and beverages were a big hit of the evening. The staff were great too! Highly recommend Catering Works for any event or occasion.

We hired Catering Works to cater my baby shower and their service was excellent. They were easy to work with, reliable, professional, and the food was absolutely amazing! We did a "Taco bout a baby" theme so we had tacos, chips and dips, rice, beans and corn. The food was the most complimented thing about the party, specifically the corn! So delicious.

Catering Works catered not only our wedding but our reception as well. We worked with both Kayla and Pam and they were simply amazing. All of our guests that we spoke to commented on how amazing the food was. Kayla and her team at Catering Works are an elite level catering provider. Kayla will work hard to win your business by giving you options on your occasion's menu. She will clearly communicate pricing and give you a variety of options. It doesn't stop once she's won your business. Kayla really enjoys what she does and it shows in the final product.

Catering Works catered our wedding and created our wedding cake. We truly enjoyed working with Catering Works! They were very professional and responsive. They tailored the perfect menu and the cake was absolutely beautiful! Our family and guests were coming up to us to compliment the meal.
