Wanted to share my wonderful experience with Gartner. I called my usual HVAC company for a boiler service, I was years overdue and the boiler is really old so wasn't surprised they informed me the boiler was on it's last leg and becoming dangerous. Their estimate was the 2nd highest of the 4 estimates I received.

We have used Gartner Heating and Cooling for many years to service our heating and air conditioning systems. They are reliable and came to the rescue when one of our air conditioners needed to be replaced mid-summer. Though temps in our attic were really unbearable, they did a great job. Michael Perkins has been our technician for a few years and he has been great. He's respectful and clearly explains any maintenance problems. He also highlights what's working well. We have been pleased with their service!

Gartner HVAC has done an OUTSTANDING job of servicing many rental properties.for.me over the past fifteen + years, in addition to my home and a large church heating plant. They just completed the installation.of.a.new hot water heating system I'm my home. They do excellent work at a fair price and provide a high level of service. They are quality people with a high degree of integrity!!

In these difficult times I have found happiness and peace. GARTNER removed and replaced a commercial boiler for an apartment building. Efficiency in removing the old and replacing with the new. What I'm really impressed is what products Darren is recommended for replacement. Really efficient system with minimal hands on operation. The helpers were all professional and competent. So happy right now. Wish I had another boiler to replace👍

Gartner HVAC took great care of us this year when our water heater stopped working. Darren got us a great unit especially made for our home that is on well water. They had the new unit ordered and ready in a day and the installation was so fast and efficient. You can tell how experienced Darren and his helpers are. They left the house clean and were so kind the whole time they were here. They are new to the Cary area and we would recommend Gartner HVAC to anyone.

Gartner HVAC is just fantastic. If only all companies were run this well. They installed our AC unit three years ago and it has operated flawlessly. I had them come out for a service check just make sure everything was working well, and they were incredible all over again. We’ve had both Darrin (the owner) and Mike out. Both are awesome. Super nice and willing to discuss options with you. They are always looking to make sure you don’t spend money unnecessarily. We’ve spoken to other north shore plumbers like ABC and BMW who do the exact opposite. Love these guys.

I admit that I did not have any service done by Gartner HVAC. This may sound odd, but I will explain.
I called Gartner this morning looking for help to restore heat to my building. They found room in their schedule but not until late in the day. I took the appointment but was freezing. In the meantime, another company that I had left a message with earlier in day called back with a technician available right away. I called Gartner back to ask if it was a lot of trouble to cancel since I had another company ready for an immediate repair. I was pleasantly surprised how empathetic they were to my

It's been 3 weeks they keep telling me Monday is going to come someone this is completely unprofessional I called the dispatch and they told me that they had a big job with some pipes so that's why all the technicians were busy in my business heating it's super important for the health of people so if you want to use this company make sure you call at least a month in advance.

They not only did an excellent job of installing my new air conditioner but corrected a faulty unprofessional hook up on my furnace. I had a couple of quotes and the other outfit had no clue that my furnace was connected incorrectly. Gartner new immeadiatly that it was… hooked up incorrectly. After he left I checked it out, and he was right. They fixed that and installed a new pair of air conditioners for slightly more than the other quote. Gartner HVAC installed a new boiler in our home last year. We also replaced a couple radiators and extended a line into a three season room.
The service experience was positive and the company held true to its proposal. We had an issue with one zone that refused to shut off when the desired temperature was reached. Darren, the owner of the company, diagnosed and problem and fixed the issue by replacing a small section of thermostat wire. This solved the issue!
The unit keeps our home very cozy! I found working with Darren and the company very easy. I highly recommend Gartner HVAC.

I called on Friday and they came out Tuesday to clean and recharge my condenser/ space pac.. Everything is running great and cooling the house down. My experience with Gartner has been good and I recommend working with this family run/ local HVAC business.
Twelve years ago they installed a boiler in my home and I haven't had any problems. The price for the boiler was better than other install bids I received.

I'm so sorry to see these negative reviews for Gartner -- they certainly don't reflect our experience. We've used Gartner for two major projects and interim maintenance.

Had these guys out for a spring tune up purchased through Groupon. They ran and "diagnosed" the A/C system, managed to get the compressor to shut down (probably due to the evaporator anti-frost sensor detecting freezing temperatures) and then stated that the system had a leak - which urgently needed $3000 to $5000 of work to ensure correct operation during the upcoming summer months. I elected not to do this work and to see how it would operate when it was hot out.
