Equilibria Psychological and Consultation Services has been servicing the Philadelphia and surrounding communities since 2005. We are a group who have come together to provide children, teens, adults, families and couples with a place where they can feel safe and comfortable to explore the social, emotional, learning and/or behavioral challenges they are facing.

Services
Equilibria Psychological and Consultation Services is a well-established practice with offices in Philadelphia (Society Hill and Fishtown) and Willow Grove, and remote positions available as well. We are currently looking for PA licensed psychologists, LPCs, LMFTs, and LCSWs. We want to empower and support clinicians in doing the work that they love, in their area of expertise, and with the clients that they most enjoy working with!

Our Referral Coordinator will help set you up with a therapist who you feel will be a good fit with your needs. There have been numerous studies done over the past several decades that have shown that psychotherapy is beneficial in many ways for many different types of challenges and issues.
As the owner and Executive Director, I opened the doors of Equilibria Psychological and Consultation Services, LLC to assist individuals seeking help with life's challenges. I was trained in the psychodynamic therapy model at Drexel University and use a person-centered, strength-based approach to help clients reach their full potential.
Our child and teen specialists help children and teens establish and develop a sense of comfort and peace with who they are. We offer a wide range of therapy, assessment and evaluation services to meet the various needs that your child/teen may have, whether they are behavioral problems, social problems, emotional issues, learning challenges, or more complex mental health issues.
Child psychology is a unique form of therapy. Equilibria Kids offers one-on-one therapy specifically tailored to the needs of children and teens. The child and school psychologists at Equilibria Kids work with children and teens to address concerns that range from temporary problems to issues of a more complex nature.

Please do not go here. Attempting to fit mental health care into a busy life is extremely difficult. A family member went here for months and, given extreme life circumstances well out of the ordinary, was unable to attend one session. She called and explained the situation, but since the situation arrived less than 24 hours before her scheduled appointment, she was still forced to pay her normal copay amount plus the amount insurance would typically reimburse all out of pocket.
