Services
The Law Offices of Joseph Adelizzi exists to understand and serve our clients as trusted advisors and to help our clients by organizing their personal and business affairs to benefit their family. Our law firm will advise, guide, and, if necessary stand shoulder to shoulder with our clients as we provide forward-thinking advice for their personal and financial future.
Estate planning allows you to have a say (a BIG say) in what happens to yourself, your loved ones, and your assets, when you cannot make those decisions for yourself. The California State Legislature has an estate plan for you - (and we all know the State has our best interests in mind, right?). Your last will and testament is just one part of comprehensive estate planning.
Of course you want your family to have the deed to your home. You selected your home so that it would provide the environment you want for your family. You want your family to have the property or you wouldn't have bought it.

Protect yourself and your family by titling your home in a properly prepared estate plan that has the terms and conditions you decide to include on how to pass your property to your family, instead of what the State would dictate in the event you do not have an estate plan.An alternative estate planning tool many homeowners are using to significantly reduce the costs of passing their homes and estates to their heirs is a Living Trust.
A Financial Power of Attorney is a written authorization appointing another person to act for you in a business, legal matter, or other private affair when you are incapacitated. As an example, if I am in a terrible auto accident and am taken to the hospital in a coma, chances are I will not be able to work for a while.
An Advanced Encinitas CA Health Care Directive or a Health Care Power of Attorney, these terms are used interchangeably, allows you to appoint someone as an "attorney-in-fact" who will have the legal authority to make health care agency decisions for you if you cannot make them yourself, if you become incapacitated in any way.

After months of searching and interviewing estate planning attorneys, my husband and I chose Joe Adelizzi to help us update our family trust.
During our first appointment with him, we felt secure in his expertise and experience and appreciated his up-front explanations. He described the scope of services, fees, and other contract information, all detailed in written format for us to review at home before making a decision.
He is easy to talk to, a great listener and answered our many questions clearly and patiently in person and on the phone.
Earlier this month, we signed and received the completed

Joe was my mother's attorney and provided fantastic service. The sadness of losing my mother was eased by the excellent preparations he put in place to ensure a smooth transition after her passing. As a result, I have used him for my own estate planning as well. He is an excellent listener, focusing on where you are and where you want to go without pushing an agenda on you. While this is not a topic anyone is anxious to think about, much less plan for, I feel much more secure and organized after his help. I can not recommend him strongly enough.

I had my estate plan prepared by Mr. Adelizzi and was very pleased. After my parents passed away, I realized how important it was to get this taken care of so that someday my kids did not have to go through the situation my siblings and I did. He explained every document to us and took the time to explain the importance of each. He prepared a comprehensive package with all documents together in a binder. He is also an extremely nice guy that really makes you feel at ease during the process. If you are looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable attorney, he is your guy!

We have known Joe for years, he has earned our trust and respect. We highly recommend him to anyone new to this area, or a long-time resident in need of reliable and proficient legal service.

I initially met Joe through a difficult situation many years ago, (before YELP!) navigating a mediation to end a marriage. His compassion and professionalism stood out to me above all. Not to mention patience! This was far less painful than other divorce options I have heard of. TRY MEDIATION!
Having worked with many experienced attorney's over the span of our careers, my husband and I did not think twice about calling Joe when we needed guidance in estate planning.
The level of integrity, confidence and patience he exhibited gave us incredible piece of mind. To have his guidance in our estate

Joe Adelizzi helped our son get out of a scary, long ordeal. DUI, missed court dates, failure to appear, which led to a warrant for his arrest. Mr Adelizzi was able to go to court several times on my son's behalf, kept him out of jail, got his license back and most of all gave him back his freedom and dignity. He never once made my son feel less than and treated him with such care. Thank you for everything!!!

Joe Adelizzi walked me through a divorce that involved a bankruptcy and estate planning issues. He was knowledgeable, reassuring, and professional. I moved out of state in the middle of this and he promptly answered my calls and emails. His ability to explain and unravel the legal issues I faced saved me at a time when my emotions were running high. The result of this helped me save my house and my income. I am forever indebted to Joe and he would be my first call if I needed legal guidance once again.

Joe prepared our Estate Planning documents and also assisted my husband and I in some other legal matters. He is a very knowledgeable attorney and is super personable.
We didn't know where to start when we decided to move forward with this. Joe walked us through everything and explained each document and it's purpose. For the average person, this can be overwhelming, and Joe was able to put us at ease and make the whole process a breeze.
I have, and will continue to recommend Joe to everyone I know.
