Flourish Flower Farm is owned and loved by Niki & William Irving. After years of working in education and outdoor education, Niki finally turned the dream of becoming a Farmer-Florist into reality (read the in-depth version of 'How I Became a Flower Farmer' here). As the daughter of a landscaper and tree farmer, you could say that Niki's love of plants was inevitable.
Flourish Flower Farm is 9 acre private farm in Asheville, North Carolina, just 15 minutes from downtown. Nestled in the heart of old tobacco country, the farm sits atop a huge hill and is surrounded by incredible, nearly 360o views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A private home with huge covered porches and a goldfish pond overlooks the flower fields.
Creating beauty is our passion and we delight in bringing our passion to create something truly beautiful for your wedding. We take pride in growing unique, beautiful flowers and then creating exquisite designs with those blooms. Our intimate relationship with flowers allows us to create color palettes with depth and dimension, blending tones inspired by nature and each season.
If you are looking for beautiful, unique wedding or event flowers, yet do not have a strong preference for floral details, we are so excited to offer our Farmer's Choice option! This is a simple approach for those looking for select items for their special day, such as a bridal bouquet, bridal party bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces.
I'm nervous about using seasonal flowers - what if the flowers don't grow and then I have no flowers for my wedding day? No need to worry! We love supporting our local flower farmer friends and occasionally source flowers from across the US if something specific is not available on our farm. In the event that we need to buy flowers elsewhere, there will be no additional costs or stress passed along to you.

Niki is the most amazing florist! I know she is a true artist because when I see her work, I know it is hers. I have worked with Niki for several years, she is our exclusive florist for my elopement company. I want my team to be comprised of the best wedding/elopement vendors in the area, and Niki is hands down the best in flowers! At the end of February my husband & I eloped in Asheville. The elopement company we used uses Flourish Flower Farm for their flowers. Given we were married in the winter only some of my flowers actually came from the farm but it was so exciting to watch the whole process on their Instagram page. I literally watched my flowers grow from seedlings. Thank you for the most beautiful bouquet.

We could not have been happier with our beautiful flowers from Flourish Farm for our wedding and welcome party! Niki does amazing work, and her flowers are even grown by her! How cool is that? Not to mention she is a very easy & comforting person to work with. My Mom was able to go see her farm and said it is beautiful and so neat to see. Niki is so talented! We found her when we were doing our own research on florists. Of the 5 or so florists I spoke to, Niki had the most thorough and personalized process. All of the other florists gave me huge minimum budgets and very cookie cutter flower designs. Niki had a thorough questionnaire, and proceeded to give me an inspiration page that had EXACTLY what I was picturing on it! We had her do our flowers for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. It was perfect as our rehearsal dinner had beautiful warm fall flowers, and our wedding had the more classic white/blush flowers. Looking

Words can't describe how beautifully talented Niki is ! Not only does she grow her own flowers locally, she designs and sets everything up herself. Everything came out even more beautiful than what I imagined. We had our ceremony location change at last minute due to weather and she went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Asking Flourish Flower Farm to provide the flowers for my wedding was one of the best wedding planning decisions I could have made. Niki & Flourish Flower Farm did a beautiful job for our wedding. We didn’t have a color scheme, exactly, and sent her other elements from our wedding to work from.
