I was able to get an appointment almost immediately for laptop repair. That repair, when complete, was explained in detail. Nightmare of a week. My laptop fell off the coffee table and would not start. AND a couple days later my external hard drive suddenly stopped working. Of course, I had so many files on these hard drives. I called for some help and dropped off my stuff. Within a day I got a call back with a diagnostic and cost to repair. The repair costs were fair and reasonable. Logic board replacement, and data recovery. I appreciated the honesty and options. Especially appreciate the fast turn around. Thanks again!

I dropped my external drive with two terabytes of pictures. It's almost 10 years of my life! My computer stopped detecting it, and the drive was still running but it was creating a clicking sound. I checked online listings for data recovery. The prices were crazy and had no guarantee. Then I found Smarttech Computer Repair. The price was very reasonable, plus I remembered that I had already used their services a long time ago to repair my laptop and had been very satisfied. This guy is great! He is very experienced, professional, and easy to work with. He helped me set up my new computer and worked to resolve issues with my old computers.
