Detroit Health Care for the Homeless, Inc. incorporated in 1986 to improve the health of our most vulnerable population. In 2003, DHCH expanded its mission to include all of those who are uninsured, or who live in areas where there are not enough doctors available. Since then, DHCH has done business as Advantage Health Centers and now operates a network of medical and dental clinics.
The Advantage Care Business Partnership from Advantage Health Centers ("AHC Detroit") is an innovative health care program for your employees, independent contractors and freelancers that provides access to affordable, high quality medical, dental and behavioral healthcare in several convenient locations.
The Wellness Advocate Program is de-signed to give you an easy way to recommend our medical, dental and behavioral health services to friends and family members who are looking for high-quality healthcare services.

I will never go back my first experience with signing in on my phone from car i waiting over 40 minutes in the car for my text reply to come inside. After my second call letting the operator know that I was in my car waiting and checking my check in status I went inside and was told I checking 20mins early and not 30 mins early and that I need to make another appointment. I was so upset after waiting a month for my appointment i asked why was I not told on the check in option or texted I was so shocked and displeased I just walked out

The Oakman location is a lot better doctors seems to actually care. If you are pregnant I would not recommend coming here especially if this is your first pregnancy. The doctor doesn't seems like she cares or even gives you helpful tips about your first time becoming a mother. It is very hard to even get an ultrasound and I would make sure it's safe to take any medicine they tell you take if your pregnant I went to another doctor to get a second opinion and they were so grateful I followed my gut feeling and didn't take the medicine the doctor prescribed to me to take for an infection I had while

I’ve been trying for a month to get my prescription. I went back in and they still screwed it up. I’ve been calling everyday and keep getting “we’re going to have to call you tomorrow”. They don’t call me and I’m sick of calling them. Healthcare is supposed to work for me not me work for it.

By far the worst patient service I've experienced from a medical institution. Dr. Anthony Harris time management is horrible. 1 star goes to the front desk staff for their professional etiquette. I arrived early for my 10:30am appt, waited 30 minutes for the doctor without any reason for delay at all. I canceled my appointment and will not be a returning patient of Advantage Health. The biggest disadvantage of all time...literally.

I was scheduled for an appointment this morning and they had a staff meeting and never called me to reschedule. Then they scheduled me for 10:30 the same day and got there and they never put my dental insurance information in the computer. So now I have wasted my time and gas coming back and forward up here. I finding another dentist and maybe another doctor too. This is so messed up.

I have been going here for several years and the staff and doctors a Awesome! Dr Long is fanstatic, helpful, educational and patient. He explains so that I have no problem understanding. The young ladies are very professional and its really easy to get an appointment. I also like the fact they close later on Wednesday. If you dont have medical insurance they have a social worker there that gets you signed up within minutes. WIC and Delta Dental is within the same building. I am beyound satisfied with the services offered as well as the convenient location
