Veneto Trattoria is an independently owned and operated Scottsdale, Arizona restaurant modeled after the traditional trattorias of Northern Italy. The authentic menu features fresh, flavorful dishes, all lightly prepared, and are very healthful and satisfying without a heavy, filled feeling. Our goal is to authentically recreate Venetian cuisine with a dining experience identical to dining in Venice.

Services
Veneto Trattoria maintains the authentic Venetian dining experience with a number of Italian staff members. Chef Massino Brunelli, who has been at the restaurant since it opened, is from Venice. Many members of the wait staff are also Italian so they are very familiar with the Italian cuisine and can easily describe dishes on the menu to diners.
Enjoy dining alfresco for both lunch and dinner on Veneto Trattoria's lovely umbrella shaded patio. The beautiful weather of the desert Southwest accomodates outdoor dining much of the year. The welcoming interior of the restaurant reflects the classic old world warmth of the traditional Italian trattoria.
Focusing on the cuisine of Venice and northern Italy, Veneto Trattoria has found a loyal following who proclaim the dining experience to be exceptional. Well, I agree. Flavors can be seductively subtle, when so designed by the Venetian chef, or bold and bright when warranted. The staff is enthusiastic.
Comment cards are presented to Veneto Trattoria's partrons with their check. A small sampling of these comments provides a good indication of the quality dining experience you will enjoy at the restaurant. Roberto and Massimo were featured on Channel cooking two of Veneto's special healthy and hardy Holiday soups.
Our Half-Price Summer Wine List includes unique boutique and limited production varietals, along with some traditional favorite wines. This is a great way to sample new wines or save on your favorites. You may also purchase wines for your home cellar. But quantities from our Half-Price Summer Wine List are limited and the offer is subject to stock on hand.

We heard Veneto's was such an incredible place to eat true Italian food so, my wife made reservations right away. We read the reviews and it seems most of the bad reviews were people unhappy with the service not the food. We arrived at 7:10PM for a 7:15PM reservation and it was pretty busy. It was not clear where to check in and I recognized the owner from a picture online, he was setting up two new tables outside. Great experience with Veneto Trattoria. Ordered pasta, carpaccio, soups, sea bass there, some deserts. It all costs every penny of its price - super tasty, fresh, served beautiful. Overall the place looks nice inside and out. Personnel is very professional and polite. I would come back there multiple times if lived in the area.

The reason I eat here is the food had been consistent. During the pandemic consistency has been a problem in restaurants. However, tonight my entree wasn't good. I told my waitress who knows me. She spoke to the manager (someone I never saw before. New? The son of the owner? I do t know) but the manager decided to charge me anyway.
Ok. You got my 25 bucks. Enjoy them. Try to make them last because I have the last ones you're getting from me. This is a town full

Upscale, but with no pretension, fairly Old School, cozy and welcoming, with a great Wine selection, friendly Staff, and a wonderful array of dishes, from light to decadent, all with exquisite traditional flavors, and the finest & freshest ingredients. I love the Salmon Salad at lunchtime, and my Wife almost always orders the Spaghetti alle Vongole.
They have a Special that is not on the menu, and only sometimes on the (verbal) Specials List, but Always available: Shrimp in a light Lemon Cream Sauce over House Made Linguine...this dish is

When we visit Scottsdale, we make it a point to eat here. Service is excellent and food arrives quickly and hot! A great variety of specials and regular menu items and have not been disappointed in the least. Food is authentic Italian and reasonably priced. Make a reservation because it's always busy. And don't forget the tiramisu!

Just the two of us stopped in on a busy Friday night, no reservation. We were told 20 minutes but it wasn't that long. Wanda and her helpers gave us impeccable service. Amazing wine list (our inexpensive choice was superb). The Sea Bass special was melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly seasoned. Tiramisu perfect as well. Happy customers.

The only problem are the waiters. They tend to be in a hurry to remove your plate before you are finished eating.

The owner was terribly rude. I have been to countless Italian restaurants all over the country. I requested grated cheese to be served with my bread and was charged an additional fee. When we asked about the charge, the owner became belligerent.We were not told that there would be a charge for something that from my experience has never been an additional fee. Thus, this soured our dining experience. Not leaving a good impression especially for two out of town travelers who were looking forward to embracing a new dining location.

Service: hostess is very nice and seated us quickly. We decided to sit outside Oct 2021 as the weather was cooling down in PHX. Our server was very prompt as well as bread service. Water stayed full.
Food: we got the special that day. Mixed seafood linguine. Wow. House made pasta. The texture is al dente but different than the boiled kind you get. Mixed seafood consisted of fish, scallops, shrimp, and mussels. Red sauce. Bread basket was a baguette and some sort of focaccia bread.
Parking: spacious private lot
Inside: dim light mood. Clean. Nice casual to semi formal

My first time at Veneto Trattoria was such a treat! I ordered the half ravioli half gnocchi (a special request- I couldn't decide between the two dishes so they accommodated me and gave me a bit of both!) and the apple marzipan dessert.
The half and half was spectacular. My favorite of the two was the ravioli- the pasta was so silky and tender, and so gently cradled the spinach and cheese filling. It was dressed in the most gorgeous tomato garlic sauce. I honestly wish the sauce was a soup so I can drink it. The gnocchi was fine, but it's kind of hard to shine- like putting a Honda

This restaurant has survived 20 years or so. Why? Because they deliver quality Italian food at a decent price. My husband and I were there last night and enjoyed all. Interesting garlic bread, they let us split a salad... he had lasagna and I have to say it was the lightest and tastiest. I had ravioli ( unusual and again LIGHT) and say the best I've had in years! The price is fair, great and attentive waiters etc. highly recommended!!!

This quaint Italian restaurant was the Best Italian food we have had in Scottsdale! Hands down! All pasta is home made! We had lamb shanks, lemon shrimp linguine, mushroom ravioli, beet salad and lastly creme brûlée. No words to describe! Service was excellent too! Thank you for this wonderful experience taking you to Italy!

Hands down the most authentic Italian restaurant in AZ. The quality of food and service are as consistent as a clock. My favorite dish is one they don't have on the menu but always offer - it's a Shrimp pasta with lemon butter sauce *chef kiss* The owner is great and is always there (that's how you know it's good).
If I could give them 100 stars I would! They also have a great patio for those who prefer outdoor dining.

Amazing new find. I have been visiting Scottsdale monthly for the last 3 years and cannot believe that I have not visited this place earlier. Since I stayed at the JW Marriott in Paradise Valley, this popped up on my Yelp, so needed to go try.
Amazing server, cozy little place, everyone friendly and the food was amazing. Great Italian wine choices as well. The gnocchi was very fluffy and the sauce simply amazing, just right not too oily or heavy. They were flexible on non starch fro the seafood special and added some grilled veggies at no additional charge.
This will definitely be my new Scottsdale
