Palmetto Bay Sunrise Cafe is a casual cafe, open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. We serve breakfast all day with favorites like biscuits n' gravy and our popular quiche. Customers rave about our Stuffed French Toast, Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, and our Breakfast Burrito with homemade salsa. We also have a full bar and a regularly changing specials menu.
Palmetto Bay Marina (our home for the last 18+ years) is under new ownership and management. This brings new excitement and immediate changes to our local Hilton Head Island paradise. Guests can now experience new docks and marina operation, updated facilities, and we're just getting started!

Services
Owners, Leslie and Paul Stewart first opened the breakfast and lunch restaurant in 2002 after more than a decade of working the island's food and beverage industry. Leslie was a server and "Stew, " as his friends call him, worked as a chef in several island locations. What makes our restaurant different is that we literally and figuratively crack every egg.
The best way to get up in the morning in Hilton Head is to head over to this waterside cafe at 6am (okay, you can sleep in until 7) and sit outside with a cup of coffee and some breakfast delights (the outdoor seating is an especially nice bonus on a brilliant spring day).
Early risers can take advantage of the "Eggs All Ways" special from 6am-8am, which will get them two eggs prepared to their liking, along with bacon or sausage and hash browns or grits.Folks pining for coastal Long Island can indulge in the Hamptons Brunch, which translates to two eggs with a New York strip.

You want to make sure your eggs are fresh - it really makes a difference. We purchase our eggs, butter and cream from a farm in Columbia. When you crack a fresh egg and drop it into a pan, the yolk should "sit up" and remain a bit buoyant rather than lay even with the egg white. Anyone who's tried to poach an egg knows that when you drop the egg into the water it can "spider".

10/5 stars! By far the best breakfast place that we've been to. It's very interesting because the entire place works as a team to get you seated, fed, and out all while not feeling like you're being rushed. We were there for no more than 30 minutes yet had enough time to eat and enjoy ourselves. We both got the blueberry cream cheese stuffed french toast which was absolutely divine. We will most definitely be coming back

Looking for vegan food in the Hilton Head area, and Happy Cow sent me here. Place was packed! This is clearly a very popular place, and I can see why. Not a ton of vegan options, but they did have this vegan Benedict. The potatoes were good, and it came with salsa and guac. Coffee was a very dark roast, not particularly my thing, but the food was good and the people were very friendly. Got me in and out quickly. I'd go again.

Was in Hilton Head for the 1st time and ate here twice!! The service is phenomenal! The food is outstanding! Maria, Heather and the rest of the staff are so attentive to you. No matter the crowd. The outside seating was fabulous.
The mimosas put Ohio's mimosas to shame!
You do not want to miss this treasure while in Hilton Head!!

Went here today based on a recommendation. For a Friday at 8:30am, I only had to wait 10-15 min for a table for me and my dog on their deck. Service was exceptional and I had someone doting on me and my dog at least once every five minutes! Food was delicious and quick and I felt very welcome! Definitely worth a breakfast trip—especially if you have a dog!

Early AM breakfast before leaving HH yesterday. Sat inside with no wait. Breakfast items were fresh and very good; service was fast. We try to come here each time on the island. At the end of our meal, I shifted slightly in my chair to get my wallet and the right back leg of my chair gave out and down I went! Got lots of attention from staff - there was no injury. I still wanted to pay my bill but they comped it. Stuff happens — will try to get there again for breakfast next time to Hilton Head.
