Services
In 1992, we opened our first location in Coral Gables and quickly became the go-to spot for University of Miami students. For 14 years, Taco Rico grew alongside the budding demand for Tex-Mex restaurants, forcing us to open a South Beach location in 2006, and then three more in Pinecrest (2008), Doral (2011), and Bird Road (2014).
The Taco Rico experience is not confined to our restaurants! Our catering services provide Tex-Mex for all kinds of occasions, big or small! The Taco Rico catering menu includes trays of taquitos, burritos, tacos al pastor, chimichangas, and quesadillas. We also offer build-your-own-fajita trays with your choice of proteins!

Steak Quesadilla. Only has steak and cheese in it. Finally a place that says exactly what they mean. And it’s good too.
Tacos, rice, refried beans. It’s simple and good. Not all the random fancy things people put it and
Overall, food is good and priced fairly. ($10-$14 per meal) Staff was nice enough. No complaints there.
Would visit again.

These are hands-down the best tacos I’ve ever had
I’ve ordered the lunch special (one pork taco and one chicken burrito) and the mango margarita. The cashier/waiter gave me salsa and chips for free. He later informed me that the owner is actually Argentinian! I think this establishment is a hidden gem in Miami. It’s DELICIOUS, affordable, and fast.
Seriously, go now. Do you want to miss out on the best tacos that you’ve ever had in your life??

Every time we order Uber from this place they never send us any pico de Gallo.
Even tho we write it on the notes of the app.
Poor management and oversight of this restaurant leads to low expectations.
Would recommend Ernesto's Taco Shop.
Their chimichanga is way better and they always follow instructions.

I love Taco Rico! So when I was walking around South Beach looking for affordable food and I came across this location I was very happy. I love how crunchy their tortilla chips are as well as their flavorful salsas. This trip I ordered fish tacos. I was disappointed they wouldn't let me mix and order 2 fish and 1 shrimp taco to taste them both but the tacos were delicious and came with rice and beans. I also tried the horchata but it was more water than anything else.

First time here. Came for lunch & left full & happy. The lunch specials are large portions that came out hot & delicious. The staff was so friendly & explained which salsas would be spicy when they gave them to us with complimentary chips. Bottle drinks, fountain drinks, beer & Viva Sol are your drink options. There is a kids menu & dessert menu. We will definitely be back to try more!!

This was a nice stop on the way from skating. It was my first time here. The tacos were great. I had one beef, chicken and steak taco. All three were good but my favorite was the steak taco. They have a variety of choices to choose from on the menu even vegan options! Each meal also comes with a side of chips and salsa. The prices are very reasonable especially if you like to try many different things off of the menu. Most definitely will be back when I am in the area.

While visiting the Miami area, we wanted to experience some authentic Tex-Mex, and Taco Rico was the first option that we found. It is a small restaurant, with great service. The food left some room for improvement. Tex-Mex usually brings a large pallet of flavor, but not in the case of Taco Rico. The food could be described as bland at best. Would be willing to give it another try, but would not go out of my way to eat at this location again.

I haven't been here in over 2 years or so and I have to say the quality of food and service has gotten better! I also loved how they were timely in service and with any questions about ingredients was also well known NY the staff. Me and my party member ordered tacitos (brings 4)$6.50 an order of nachos with steak(10.50) and the DELICIOUS skirt steak chimichurri tacos($12.00) which was the highlight of the meal in all honesty. The whole experience was amazing from the chips and salsa we ate while waiting for our dishes to the sauces that enhanced the experience dramatically. Overall 10/10

Great tex mex place! Has a great combination of traditional Mexican food with a great twist of savory American cooking. Great outdoor seating to follow the safety precautions for the pandemic and attentive staff that will work diligently to get your food ready! The only bump was in the sauce. They were watered down and lacking flavor. Other than that is a great place for a filling lunch!

Picked up a to go order from Taco Rico during the COVID-19 shut down. The family Ordered two Baha bowls, steak quesadilla and kids cheese quesadilla. I forgot to take photos of the food, I was starving. The food was absolutely delicious. The portions are generous and they gave me plenty of salsa sides. I need to add that the food was just as delicious for takeout as it is during regular dining. I say that because sometime the food just doesn't taste the same from other restaurants when one orders takeout food. I highly recommend Taco Rico (dine in or takeout) and I will return soon.

This place is a super casual Mexican restaurant, but it gets the job done. Their lunch menu is pretty sweet, starting at just $6.99 for three tacos or even combos of one taco, one burrito, for the same price. The service was good -- it was 8 of us and they quickly accommodated us. I absolutely loved their salsa bar as they had some variety and everything looked fresh.
The place gets packed at lunch, so if you're with a big group, there's a good chance you all won't be able to sit together. It also gets noisy during this time, so don't expect anything super calm.

You know you're adulting when celebrating Cinco de Mayo is done in a sit down Mexican restaurant (well adulting and the Mini Monsoon we had on Sunday) However, when done with a fellow foodie friend it's still muy bueno. My OG Yelp BFF recommended Taco Rico for dinner and margaritas since our original spots were too packed and soaked. It's hidden roughly in the same plaza as Walmart, and the service is fast casual (order at the counter and it's brought to your table.)

Taco Rico has a few locations, but this is the one that I know. Some of my favorite Mexican food comes from here. They have a wide variety of menu items such as tacos, burritos, wet burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, salad, soup, and more. The complimentary tortilla chips and salsa are made fresh daily.
I like a few items in particular. The Tacos al Pastor is always a good choice and it's filling. If you like variety and you're hangry, try a Mexicana Platter. It comes with a taco, a wet burrito, a quesadilla, rice, and beans. The Taco Salad is a good portion and is served in a large
