Nick and Elisa have a combined 27 years of real estate experience. Nick is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California having closed over $60M in real estate transactions. Elisa is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of California. Nick and Elisa met (and later married) many years ago while working for the largest commercial real estate brokerage firm in San Diego.

My husband and I purchased an oceanfront condo in Solana Beach in 2019 and we hired the largest vacation rental property manager in San Diego (not Haustay) to manage our property. After a year under their management we were unhappy. Their constant employee turnover, inconsistent cleaning quality, and sub-par revenue performance led us to seek out new management. We interviewed a few managers and ultimately went with Haustay and we have been very happy with their performance. They make sure our property is well maintained for, they have been out performing our previous manager in monthly revenue

I've been a landlord for almost 40 years but completely new to the vacation rental market. Decided to give it a try in Oceanside with our newly purchased condo. My local realtor lives next to Nick and Elise and made the introduction. Our goal was to get this on the market within 45 days of purchase. The place was awesome, down to the last detail. It was very roomy, clean and comfortable. Also, Nick was very accommodating. Unfortunately, we had an issue that required a longer length of stay and Nick made sure to make it happen. He was very professional. I would strongly recommend renting from any of his properties and I will again if I’m the area.

We had a wonderful stay in Carlsbad! The location was awesome in terms of being close enough to walk to the beach and also to great nearby restaurants. We parked the car on arrival and didn't use it again until the day we checked out, which was so nice! The property was sparkly clean inside which is priceless in terms of feeling safe and assured in this day and age. Nick and team were always accessible by text and super quick to respond, which we appreciated. We stayed at a Haustay property in La Quinta in November. We were blown away by Haustay customer service. They were super responsive over email going above and beyond. The check in process and house information were so easy and clear. We loved the property we stayed at and will definitely return. Nick and team were new managers at a condo we stayed for a week in San Diego. Nick was quick to respond to texts and we had a seamless check in process with his clear instructions and photos. He took over the management in between when we originally rented the unit and when we arrived. The condo looked even nicer in person than the photos. I believe they updated the bedding etc and the linens felt very clean and new. I also liked that the laundry detergent supplied in the unit was a Costco sized Tide free and clear.
