Where do I even begin? My fiancé and I had been to multiple shops and stores and I could not find anything I liked. I had looked at too many styles and gotten myself totally turned around on what I really wanted. Golden Strings were knowledgeable and helpful when my husband and I were searching for our rings. My husband first met them when he was looking for my engagement ring. He felt comfortable shopping at Golden Strings because of their patience and the multiple options available for him to see. Natalie, Vic, Illeen and Maria are the dream team! I met them almost 5 years ago and they ALWAYS exceed all my expectations every time. My husband got my engagement ring here and we also got our wedding bands here. Best jeweler! So friendly! A small diamond fell out of one of my bands (not their fault) and they fixed it very fast. They also were able to figure out that due to a missing bracket the diamond only fell out due to the ring being caught on something. I will only go here for my jewelry needs. I just wish they carried children's jewelry so we can get some things for my daughter.

I was referred to this place by my brother who went all around the jewelry district. Vic and his family are very kind and informative! They have a great selection and helped me and my now wife pick out our wedding rings. They were very patient with us and gave us a great deal! Vic and his family made it so easy for my fiancée to get her dream ring. Vic listened to every detail and created a stunning ring. If i could give this shop 10 stars, i would. Vic is by far the best jeweler in Los Angeles, hands down. Hes been in the business over 30 years, and his attention to detail and perfection far exceeds any other shop. Vic designed a custom engagement ring for my wife, and even went over the top surprising us with hidden diamonds on the prongs. They were done sooner than his expected time. Oftentimes when searching for gems and jewelry in the Jewelry District you are met with pushy jewelers that rush you to purchase their overpriced pieces and they do not seek to build any sort of rapport or relationship with you. Or, they simply have poor attitudes. You are only a transaction to them.
This is NOT the case with the Golden String family. They are a warm, welcoming and genuine group and I would highly recommend

I have nothing but praise for Vic (owner) and his daughter Natalie. My gf (now fiance!) and I were in LA for a small vacation and were so lucky to come across this place. Natalie greeted us and gave us the whole rundown on what to look for in Diamonds. The price they quoted for the diamond my gf picked out beat out ALL of San Antonio, TX (my hometown). I couldn't believe it, I shopped around for the same exact stone and Vic's quote was the best! He was able to help me get my ring ready in less than a week so I could propose on a short notice.
