Last spring I was introduced to Stefan at Interior Motif by another very satisfied customer. I had always used ready made blinds but wanted something special and long lasting. Stefan's attention to the layout of my condo, the texture of my walls and the natural light into my apartment was amazing. (I thought the critical questions were how wide and how long!) I ended up getting perfect Hunter Douglas window treatment. Before my order arrived, Interior Motif installed temporary window covering. I didn't expect that. We had a very good experience working with Interior Motif, from the first time we visited the store to get initial estimates for customized closets for our new home (a condo unit in a high rise) all the way through to successful installation.
The staff was accessible, good with follow through, funny, and very helpful: when they came to do the closet measurements they also helped us with a temporary fix after one of the closet racks from when we moved in had collapsed. The staff person gave us good details on how to maximize space in two crowded closets and led us to have much better organization

We went with Interior Motif a dealer for Hunter Douglas after finding a style we liked. IM was the closest dealer, which was the only reason we went there in 2017-2018.
Stefan did a lot of the work himself, meeting us their Hoboken place, and coming out to do the initial measurements for each of the 9 shades we were ordering. He even left paper shades to glue up until the real shades would be installed.
We've had some glitches in the HD Powerview app for automation of the shades and so began to work with HD directly for support. This led to a complete replacement of our shades, as HD

They did custom closets and windows treatments for us. Good and accurate execution. Timely and professional delivery. We were very happy out of the gates.
What prompt me to write this review is their service going forward. When we had minor issues with the curtains (my very young kids used it wrong...) they came over and just quickly fixed it.
then we asked for extra shelves and they quickly manufactured them and refused to get paid for it.
They are a very professional services provider but also they also give an amazing service and go far and beyond, even

I am VERY happy with the service I received from Shivani at Interior Motif. I needed custom blinds when I moved into a pre-war building with oddly shaped windows. I also have beautiful views of the city that I wanted to look out at without having other people look back out at me. Shivani helped me choose blinds that changed color during the day. In the morning they are light so I can see out (but no one else can see in) and at night they become solid and opaque. She also helped me choose blinds for small rooms that would add to the décor without cluttering the space. These blinds are top notch

I will never call again this company. I purchase HD Duette Vertiglide less than 10 years ago which was not cheap and the receptionist who picked up the phone, Michelle was less than professional. She was not willing to look up my account and was very rude. It was like I was bothering her to help me. Generally in a small business you do what it takes to make the customer welcome and appreciated and she did not.

Very unpleasant experience dealing with them. No communication about missing deadlines (over 6 weeks late) until chased, install measurements were poor such that they had to come back again to install again (took another 2-4 weeks). More interested in collecting balance than making sure customer is happy and taking accountability. Will not do business with them again or recommend them to anyone else.

I was very impressed with the streamlined process to repair my shade. Ariel on the phone explained the process of filling out some basic info online, then he contacted me with information on how to send the shade in for repair via Fedex with a box and shipping label that Hunter Douglas supplies. So far so good!

As I prepared to move out of my home, I ran into an issue with my Hunter Douglas Shades. I had no idea where to start with regards to getting my blinds fixed but after realizing that there was an Authorized Seller of HD in Hoboken, I reached out to Interior Motif. I have to say that from my initial email, I immediately received a response from… Ariel the operations manager and he went into full troubleshooting mode. Ariel guided me through step-by-step with regards to how I can locate the exact model and detail needed to identify a replacement part. Ariel clearly made me feel like he understood

I own a small 635 sq ft condo with six windows. It has excellent light when all the blinds are raised and makes it look much bigger when you have the outdoor view coming inside. The drag of having manual blinds that I had to open each time (again, five windows!!) meant that I rarely USED my windows and had the blinds up.
I worked with interior motif to get Hunter Douglas Power Blinds. I wake up in the morning, and with one click of the button from the "pebble" (a remote control from HD), sunshine streams into my condo.
