The Language Tree provides an early childhood language immersion program for students, ages 2 to 10 years. We offer both full-day (with enrichment care) and half-day options for your convenience. Additionally, students can continue their Language Immersion experience through elementary school by enrolling in the Graduate Program at The Language Tree.
All of our programs: Early Years, Morning Preschool and Pre-K /K Programs are offered in French and Spanish. Our Immersion Enrichment Care Program serves children ages 2-6 when they are not in their primary Language Program. Enrichment Care is offered Monday to Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm.

Elizabeth Christensen and 6-year-old Carlton Wexler talk about The Language Tree, which focuses on immersing 2 to 6 year-olds in a second language (French or Spanish). In 2012, 22 families started The Language Tree because they wanted a loving environment which fosters language learning in French and Spanish.

As the only dual language immersion preschool in Columbia, Missouri, The Language Tree gives my child the opportunity to learn a second language and appreciate other cultures from a young age. While enrolled in Spanish currently, she wants to learn French now also because of the wonderful way the teachers connect to their students. I don’t need to look anywhere else to find the best preschool for my next child!

There are not enough words to state how wonderful The Language Tree has been for our daughter. The teachers are so kind and caring and will always go above and beyond of what is required of them. The Language Tree not only is a pre-school, but it teaches the gift of a second language. TLT has done an amazing job of preparing our daughter for Kindergarten and was the perfect start for our educational journey. We can’t wait to have our other daughter start at TLT!

We love The Language Tree! My son loves going to school and comes home happy. He’s frequently telling me how to say things in French and I catch him counting and talking in French when he’s playing. This school is incredible and the teachers and staff are caring, attentive, and kind. I’m so thankful that our community has such an incredible place to send my children!

My husband and I were looking for a preschool that would challenge our children while providing a nurturing environment wile offering play based curriculum. While searching we came across The Language Tree it provided everything we were looking for AND Immersion! After doing research on the benefits of immersion we knew that this was the right place to send our daughter and then later on our son.
