Rocco's is FANTASTIC because in addition to serving excellent food, the service is SO GREAT!! This isn't one of the corporate owned restaurants in the North End; a couple owns it and they put their souls into it and it shows!!

Our story is that our oven broke and we had people coming for a dinner party. (We live around the corner and have been there for dinner several times before, so we knew we loved it, but we weren't sure they would be able to help us on short notice for a good sized party). We ordered platters of chicken parmigiana and ziti. SOOOO GOOD!! Big portions!!

We wanted a great dinner with a real Italian vibe!! Roccos was over the top!!! Food was beyond amazing and our waitress was great, she was attentive, friendly and super engaged!! The atmosphere was perfect, we had a little table right by the window. We will plan our next trip to Boston around a visit to Roccos!!

The serving staff made fun of us behind our backs (or so they thought) for taking a group picture. They didn't return our greeting when we said hello. The food was very low quality and dry. Definitely a racist vibe. If you're a person of color take your hard earned money elsewhere.

I had my doubts! The last time I went to come here there was an extremely rude woman seating people. She turned us off so much that we left. But last week we wanted to do trivia on Wednesday. Sure enough we went down to Roccos! The food was delicious and the trivia was so fun! The service was decent but no one was rude! Can't wait to come back for more trivia soon!

Good food, friendly staff and fair prices. Rocco's is a cool combination of Italian restaurant and sports bar with a great patio in the summer/fall. Their bar severs beer, wine and cordials, so no unflavored spirits, if that matters to you.

This is the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The employees were rude, the food was cold, we waited an hour and a half for cold steak, the water is room temperature, and we complained about all of it to the waiter. We told the waiter to get us a manager and a red head girl came out and tried to help but then I ended up storming off and slamming a door saying she couldn’t deal with it anymore. Then when we refused to pay for the bill they charged us wrong with they threatened to call the cops on us. Stay away from this place when you have a big party, we ended up paying and giving

First time we had ever been here. Thought the inside would be much bigger but it was still very comfortable to dine in. Our waitress Tayla was so friendly & pleasant to deal with. Definitely will be eating here again!

Fig pizza was a definite winner - nice combination of savory and sweet. Eggplant parmigiana was kinda mushy and bland. Added crushed red pepper, but even that didn’t help. Gnocchi was also bland and a bit undercooked. My daughter seemed to like her haddock and onion rings. Well, based on what left on her plate, let’s just say she liked the onion rings. Service was friendly but we got tired of asking for water refills.

Came in over the weekend with my significant other and, was utterly shocked at how amazing this restaurant is. A local gem. Anthony was our waiter and, was very professional and knowledgeable- the vodka pink sauce with penne was incredible. Not snobby nor stuffy. Great crowd, will be back.

First trip to Boston since Jan 2020. Another great visit last night with great food and drink. There was a bit of a wait for food because the kitchen was slammed. BUT, well worth it. The latest pic is their Fusilli Pasta with rabe and sausage - really good! (Pic color a little off)
We found Rocco's a few years back and return to dine there several times a year. Last night, we celebrated my wife's birthday and had the best food and enjoyed friendly and perfectly timed service. Great atmosphere with mostly locals. We also had the privilege of meeting Rocco. A must visit for the North End.

I like this establishment. It's a bit different for the area. Having recently moved to the North End and a big sports fan finding a place that is good to watch a game in the area was big. I like the combination of sports bar with quality dining. Not as upscale as the top North End restaurants, I went in jeans both times I have been there so far, it is a little more upscale than your typical sports bars. So it's a good mix. I've been here twice and tried a pasta dish once and a sandwich once (Mediterranean Wrap). Both were very tasty. They seem to have a crowd of regulars and some

Small, well kept & inviting bar/food establishment. I really enjoyed this place when I lived down the street in the North End, frequented quite often.

They have a great selection of alcohol, their food is amazing & they have really awesome employees who are really friendly! This place has their act together!

I don't really review restaurants here on Yelp and I'm sure that because of that my review may be hidden. Regardless, I came across Rocco's on a walk with my SO and it looked like a very nice outdoor seated, socially distanced place. We were both in the mood for seafood. She ordered the baked haddock and I the seafood medley over risotto (with haddock).

Her haddock was a bit dry, but cooked. Now don't get me wrong, this is not some ultimate sin. The mashed potatoes and veg she got were great. However, my haddock had gone off. It was a green/grey in the middle and was mushy

Stopped in for a few drinks with a group of 7 on a Saturday afternoon. The place was pretty crowded but we were able to find some room near the bar. The upscale italian-ish sports bar concept falls kinda of flat- the semi upscale interior clashed with the cacophony of commercials blaring during college basketball games. Re-runs of the golf channel were also playing. When I asked to change the channel to another game, the bar tender was pretty annoyed but she eventually found the channel.

As I made my way through the North End on Hanover Street, the press of pedestrians grew sparse by the clinic, and near nil once I passed Nico. However, after a left turn onto Commercial Street, I popped into Rocco's to find it rather hopping inside.

Several televisions were brightly lit with different sports playing. A bar lined the far right wall of the wide narrow space, with tables set with chairs by the left side, while high tops filling the right.

I was immediately greeted by the hostess and led to a table. For my early dinner - Steak & Cheese Wrap $10.95 (Shaved steak with peppers

Great service at Rocco's from a waitress who got the vibe and only stopped by our table as little as necessary. Not too much, not too little, but just right. Thanks!

We had the buffalo wings to start. A-OK with the right amount of sauce on them and a good heat. The small cup of blue cheese was a little challenging not to double dip but we poured it out in halfsies. Nicely plated and delicious.

For main, I chose the ziti with chicken and garlic and broccoli. It was tasty with a lot of excellent garlic. I found it to be quite oily though, getting through it and down to a one inch pond of it

I've been coming to Rocco's since 2006 when it was called the Waterfront Cafe & I'm really happy to see them finding ways to improve upon their product! I loved their steak tips sub back in the day & their pizza always had a consistent crust! I'm looking forward to talking to Rocco about the most recent UFC, I know he's a big fan of the sport & is a black belt himself in one of the many martial arts out there. Rocco is a big, friendly guy that sometimes decides to work with the staff in the kitchen, & I've always seen him treat his employees with the
