Dr. DiMuro has been practicing Pain Medicine here in Nevada since 2008. He is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. After completing his anesthesiology residency training at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, he then completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
He left private practice in 2016 when he was appointed Chief Medical Officer for the State of Nevada, serving under Governor Brian Sandoval. We opened our new facility in North Las Vegas on Ann Road, conveniently located near Interstate 215 and Decatur.

Services
DiMuro Pain Management was formed by Dr. DiMuro in 2017 after his service as Chief Medical Officer for Nevada. He has practiced in Nevada since 2008 and has 2 convenient Las Vegas locations. Our convenient and modernized office is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of all types of pain syndromes and located just minutes from I-215.
Your first visit to DPM is called the "Initial Consultation." We will obtain a thorough history about not just your pain, but your overall health as well. Then we will work together to determine what course of treatment will be best for you as an individual. A follow up visit is any office visit after your initial consultation.
Dr DiMuro is by far the best Doctor that I have been a patient of. He really listens and works with his patients, and has a wonderful bedside manner. If not for his treatment of me I may not be here today. I just wish he still practiced here in Northern Nevada, I really miss being his patient, and our area is seriously lacking in quality Pain Management Care in my opinion, especially in Fallon, Nevada area.
DPM is able to provide prescription medications when appropriate. Dr. DiMuro authored the law known as the "Opioid Bill" in the 2017 State Legislature and is intimately familiar with the mandates surrounding this legislation. The types of medications offered and the duration of each prescription is crafted based upon the individual needs of each patient.
Patients typically experience little discomfort during our procedures. Pain is minimized through the skill of the care team, judicious use of local anesthetic and sedation when appropriate. Board certification in a primary invasive specialty (anesthesiology, orthopedics, neurosurgery) with further training in pain management at a fellowship level is required at DPM.

Outstanding! I was a bit nervous as my procedure was a bit invasive and I've never had anything like this done (thankfully).
They explained everything so clearly, step-by-step, which put me at ease. The process of prepping me, putting me under, and bringing me out was about as smooth as possible.
Even though I wasn't doing anything, I felt in control because I knew exactly what was coming each step of the way.
On top of it all, Dr. DiMuro, his medical assistants, and his staff have great bedside manner.
I would definitely recommend.
