I called them to set an appointment up to come out and install two television Wall mounts. I did all of this online through their website and they emailed me back saying they could do it the next morning at 10 AM. I was not gonna be home at 10 AM and I said this on the website I wanted them to schedule in the afternoon. I called them and they said sorry for the miscommunication that somebody would call me for a phone consultation. I told them what I wanted and I also wanted a price for home security cameras. Their prices came in twice as much as two other companies. So no I would not use them.

Planet Geek was worth every penny. They gathered information about my project, provided me with quote, and we’re able to fit me the very next day.
They showed up right on time to mount my electric fireplace, cedar mantle, and 85” TV. They even left to go get me a better quality mount for that large of a TV.
Every detail was perfect. They promptly cleaned up after themselves, set up the TV and surround sound, and took all trash with them.
I will definitely be using Planet Geek again very soon for my home security set up.

Planet Geek did a great job with our golf course project. We needed 3 new tvs mounted in our restaurant and it was done quickly and safely. I appreciated the fact that they came personally to look at the job instead of blindly quoting a price. I felt fully assured they knew what was needed and how it best complete the mounting. Communication was great and installation was completed faster than expected. We will definitely use them for future projects.

I highly highly recommend Planet Geek!!! Adam and his team did a tricky TV mount on a brick wall in our new house, and it looks absolutely awesome. Adam was prompt in responding to me and showedb up on time. He and his team found an issue in our attic where a previous owner had done a hacky job connecting our garage door opener and he fixed it while running power for our TV, saving us a bunch of time and money. It's hard to find good people who care about the job they do, and Adam is one of the good ones.

If you schedule a time to come to my home for a consultation and I take the time away from work to sit at home on a weekday, I expect you to show up. I also expect when I call after the window has closed for you to be able to tell me why you didn't show. I would recommend using a company who keeps their word and does what they say they'll do. Just a small example of a poorly ran company.

At first very responsive, came supposedly diagnosed the problem said he would get back to me. After I called a couple of times company never got back to me. I called someone else who came and instantly solved my issue by relocating WiFi extenders. Hard to believe a company that installs security cameras for not have knowledge of WiFi.

Justin and Adam at Planet Geek were both great! Adam responded to my request for quote really quickly and was very transparent about the different variables that could impact final cost of an outlet drop and TV mounting. He was able to get me on the schedule really quickly. They were in and out in under the estimated amount of time to complete the job and the work was quality. We're very happy with it and I'd definitely recommend Planet Geek. I'm sure we'll have them back out when we're ready to purchase a new TV and mount it in our playroom!

Two days before Christmas I reached out to these guys. Asking for pricing on mounting an 85 inch TV. Told them I hadn't bought it yet, but was planning on doing so in the next day or so. They were able to get me the next better model of the same TV I was looking at for 300 bucks below retail at Best Buy. 24. Hours later the TV delivered and mounted on my wall. All before Christmas. They are your one stop shop for anything you need done. They are coming back this week to do surround sound and networking for our at home office. Excellent service in every way. We are 82/83 year olds. We "cut the cord" with Direct TV. Adam and his team are professionals. They provided an alternative to Direct TV at 1/3 the monthly cost. They told us what equipment to buy, came to our house, and had the new equipment quickly installed.

I had multiple needs for my home and Planet Geek was able to take care of everything. I had Ring cameras and security system installed. With a house full of kids needing improved internet, they recommended and installed a full wired hub system in the house to improve signal strength and speed for all areas of the house with no dead zones. They also did a full audio system for my living room as well as full outdoor audio for my backyard. Their recommendations on brand and sizing were perfect. They were also able to provide a full home automation system with smart thermostat control.

I purchased a 75 inch TV and needed it mounted and wanted to add an electrical outlet behind the TV, several TV mounting companies did not do the electrical part and required an electrician. Planet Geek was a one-stop-shop
Adam (the owner) scheduled me at 1 pm, his crew were on time! They were able to complete the mounting and installed the electrical outlet in just over an hour. The finished product was excellent and they even had a backpack vacuum to ensure all of the drywall dust was cleaned up.
To my surprise, Adam contacted me later that evening to inform me that he was reviewing my invoice

Adam and his team are great. They installed a couple of Nest Cams, 10 Nest Detects, and mounted three TVs in our new home. We discussed by phone and traded a few texts, and I had a quote same day. He was able to get us scheduled the *next* day, which I was not expecting. The work was top notch, completed cleanly and efficiently, and Adam and his crew are super friendly. When I had an issue a few days later, he stopped by that same day and helped me run down the problem (found out one of our outdoor plugs were switched from the garage). All in all, these guys are awesome and I wholeheartedly recommend

Just had this company come out to repair an existing alarm system...had a terrible time finding a company that would just come out and do repairs! After accessing the problem they told me that because of the crazy way the original system had been installed it made it impossible to diagnose without spending hours. They recommended I install a new simpler system, advised me of my options and there was no pressure to use them to facilitate this. On top of this they didn't even charge me for the service call. Very impressed and would highly recommend them.

I recently purchased a new home with the surroundsound in theater system let's face it the last time I touch something like this it was 1980 something I called the gentleman at planet geek and within a matter of minutes which took me almost 5 hours on a Saturday he disconnected everything and reconnected everything in 15 minutes and got everything to work on one single remote great customer service really easy-going and explain the way everything works to me so the next time I could do it on my own I greatly appreciate your business I highly recommend that you give them a chance

I usually avoid writing many reviews on here. But Adam and Justin are the best. They took their time, were very honest, and straightforward and answered every question that we had. We had a home theater screen/system installed and of course we had a glitch over the weekend where we lost sound. I texted Adam and found out it was not user-error on my end and he then proceeded to walk me through the master reset and setup over the phone on a Friday nite at 7PM. This is long overdue, but Adam and his team are amazing. I wouldn't trust anyone else for A/V work. We had 2 TVs mounted, 3 Ring cameras and a Ring doorbell installed (which he was able to tap into the old intercom system). We also had him install a whole theater room setup, including mounting the projector and screen, wiring 5 speakers in the ceiling, and running everything to a closet hideaway. On top of all of that, he gave our older home a huge upgrade by running Ethernet cables through the 3 level home, which also conveniently hides in the master closet. The ingenuity it took to see how

I needed someone to tuneup two older computers. I contacted Adam and decided to see if he could help.
On the phone he was very pleasant & seemed knowledgeable but I really didn't know what to expect. I've hired all sorts of handymen, HVAC repairmen and various other contractors & I have ended up with some pretty horrible workmanship to say the least.
Adam was nothing like that. He was extremely skilled. He knew exactly what to do to get one of the computers running faster. The other computer had blown capacitors so he suggested harvesting the RAM & transferring the hard drive

Planet Geek was recommended, by a friend who used to be in the law enforcement business, because I decided I wanted to catch the person who has been vandalising my home. Adam helped me with the installation of my Ring doorbell and was so grateful for him. After purchasing the doorbell, I realized my doorbell chime was not compatible and started searching for solutions. I got connect with Adam through research and was sure glad I did.
