We had an amazing dining experience this past weekend at Atelier! We went here for girls night out and weren't disappointed. The restaurant was so cozy with inviting decor and attentive friendly staff. One of the most impressive items of note was that we could hear each other chat without having to raise our voices. What a novelty in Denver!
As we usually do, we got a few different dishes to share so we could try a number of items. The goodness started with the bread and butter. The bread was perfectly crusty on the outside yet soft on the inside. It was perfect to pair with the country pate

Since it opened in 2017, I have been wanting to have a meal (lunch or dinner) at Radex. Last night my boyfriend said he had a surprise and he didn't know I have been secretly pining Radex...well he took me! From the minute you walk in this small but stylish restaurant you are immersed in French cuisine. It reminds me of the small country French restaurants of the south of France. The staff all but one speak French and their smiles are warm and welcoming. Copper copper copper everywhere from the display of cooking pans pots on the wall to the wrap of the bar for the open kitchen to a wrap on

The absolute best food we have had in Denver. Will return for every special moment. Escargot was amazing. The fish in a box was dreamy. Literally order everything.

Since I got an ROTD for my original review, I hesitate to mess with the accolades but here goes an update.

Friends wanted to take me out for a special celebrations lunch (70th birthday) and I got to pick the place. No brainer - Radex!!

Four of us for a late weekday lunch. We were the only people in the place which was fine - we're plenty jovial by ourselves. A little surprised that they're bothering to be open given the lack of customers. Grateful they were though - perfect spot for a celebration lunch. We could have been seated outdoors but the wind was howling and with no other

Hidden gem! Do not overlook this small but mighty restaurants. We sat outside on a cold (50 ish degrees) and they have plenty of heaters to the point where I actually took my jacket off.

All servers were friendly and helpful. Was hesitant on the escargot because I've never eaten it before but it was honestly one of the best I had all night. The Tomato Caprese came next, which the most beautiful, delicious and juicy tomato's. Lastly, the mussels were another favorite. The broth had a hint of curry and the seafood tasted fresh. The fries are a must, and worth it, addition.

We had two

Outstanding ***** gem in the neighborhood. European cruise of primarily French influence, with some Italian detected. On our last visit the Red Snapper, the TV Lobster & Pasta with Shrimp were exceptional. We've been to Atelier often but not often enough.

One of our new favorite spots for fine dining! There is no lack of high end restaurants in Denver, so make sure not to overlook this spot.

First off, make sure you make a reservation. The space is small and intimate, meaning there aren't tons of tables.

About the food, we finally feel like we've found a nice restaurant that breaks the habit of "the more you pay the less food you get". We started with drunken mushrooms which were delicious and had great sauce to soak up with bread. After that we had lobster ravioli and veal tenderloin. Everything was seasoned perfectly and

You may go in and discover the menu is completely different that what is online. My Salmon Dill had no dill in it whatsoever, just the same strange fruit and quinoa gloopy sauce as everyone else's fish (not salmon) entree at the table. Our waitress could not specify the vegetables they were serving that day. Weird. And they shouldn't be tacking tips on your bill now that Denver is required to pay their employees $15 hour.

I don't know . . .

We flew back from CA last night so we could enjoy my wife's birthday dinner at Radex tonight. We had booked this six weeks ago and couldn't wait. Only problem was it's 100F today in Denver, so I called the restaurant to see if we could change to an indoor table. Good thing I called. "Alas, we don't see your reservation. And we have booked a private wine tasting dinner tonight so we cannot accommodate you. It must be an open table problem." They asked if we could choose another night. I explained the birthday was actually today, and wasn't another night. We loved

Delicious food! Great service! Great ambiance!
Great wine pairing!
I was amazed by the flavors.
Even intrigued. I had to ask our waitress to get more insights of what ingredients the chef was using.
Every detail, every part of our meal was fantastic.
Even the bread and the butter before the appetizers.
It is clear that the Chef has an amazing palate and can combine very diverse ingredients in brilliant and innovative ways. If I was a Michelin food critic, I would definitely give his restaurant at least one star.
We had a memorable experience and will definitely go back as many times as we can

Visited Atelier for Denver restaurant week, overall incredibly underwhelming experience after reading all the rave reviews.

Top things were:
1. Wild Mushroom Cappuccino Soup
2. My glass of Grenache
3. The short rib dish, but just the meat, not the dish as a whole

There were too many disappointing things, most notably the food, and waitresses having to apologize for the owner's behavior.

My husband and I have been making our way through some of the Westwood 100 fo 2020, and have had some misses - thankfully, this was not one of them!

Everything we ordered was fresh and fabulous! We loved the atmosphere and the staff was so friendly. We ordered the ravioli app, the crab au gratin, the veal and the lamb chops. Everything was cooked perfectly and all the sauces were delicious. Great portion sizes for such a fancy place. We will definitely be back!

Well worth the wait! I had a reservation to dine at Atelier last spring, right as Colorado was placed on stay home orders. And then I really didn't go out to eat for 8-9 months. Takeout? Sure. Outside distancing happy hour? Occasionally. But not like, a real dinner at a restaurant. This felt special.

Atelier does have patio dining with heaters, but my husband and I opted for inside and there's plenty of precautions for indoor eating, including very large plastic partitions to separate tables. All servers and kitchen staff wear masks, FYI. Felt safe the entire time.

I could've eaten

This place had been on our to-try list long before the pandemic. Having had takeout, we can't wait to dine in when we can.

I love to try chicken at a French or French style restaurant. I think it's a good way to gauge what I think of the chef's style. Radex's chicken was excellent. The butchering, the seasoning...everything was good, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. My husband's elk was great as well. both came with delicious scalloped potatoes and broccolini.

We were celebrating a special occasion at home, so we splurged and got the drunken mushrooms (wild mushrooms

Atleria by Radex
Katerina our waitress was so fun and attentive.

Radex is a genius in the kitchen. We cannot believe how he was able to pull off a five course meal paired with the perfect vine. Fabulous!

Started with salmon tartare for the first course, second course was wild mushroom soup, third course, Boucher muscles, Braised buffalo short ribs and the desert was light and fluffy and amazing. It was Profheroles with chocolate mousse.

It is a small place and I am sure it will fill up fast, I WOULD call to make a reservation soon and tell Radex I said hello.
