Shortly after Michael Baird received his masters degree from ISU in the early 80's, he got that entrepreneurial spirit, and with the help of is wonderful wife, Patsy Baird, they felt the desire to help renters find a home, and help owners find good tenants. They noticed the housing needs of many US Navy employees that were relocating to the area to work at the Idaho National Laboratories.

This company has an automated email system that has sent rude and threatening emails...twice ...despite my rent being paid on time. They are all about the money. They just raised the rent 265 bucks a month in 1 shot. Do anything you can to rent from som eone else. Also, don't expect maintenence issues to be fixed in anything close to a timely manner. Stay away.

Myself and my girlfriend have been renting through Neighborhood Rentals for almost a year now and it has been a great experience working with their staff especially Kim. She has been incredible to work with and has been very helpful with any questions, concerns, or issues we have had. She's always been transparent with us on anything on her end and has happily worked with us with any issues on our end. Easily the best rental company I have worked with.

Only lived in my apartment for about a month now but it has been a great experience so far. I had some small issues with appliances and new construction stuff but Kim and Tiffany were very responsive and were in contact with me nearly every day until the issues were resolved which I greatly appreciate. Overall, fantastic place to live with fair prices considering the market right now. Shawna was also very kind and helpful having everything ready on move-in day. Never had a better management team than with Neighborhood Rentals, I would definitely recommend!

Critical: Professionalism, Value
They requested that my husband return his keys early and they would refund him for the days. I returned the keys for him, because he was at work. They claimed we never came in early and never returned the keys. He moved out 8/6, returned keys on 8/26 - still no refund money nor have they returned his deposit.

Absolutely AVOID THIS PLACE. Unacceptable, unpredictable, and unprofessional. I hope I never have to speak to the property managers again after this is finally settled, that's how hard it's been.
My bf & I traveled from Indiana for work. When we finally made the trip, met up to get the keys, walked in, and were immediately hit with a very bad smell. I noticed it right away as cat urine. I have cleaned the floors 3 times on my own since weve been here and havent been able to get rid of the smell. Our socks were black after the first night walking around and we later found used cat litter splattered

Kim and her team were there to help ever since I launched my search for a temporary rental. To keep it short and sweet, I LOVE living in my Neighborhood Rentals apartment. If I have any issues with my place at any time, Kim (manager) is always quick on the draw to have them resolved. So is maintenance when necessary. And our community is always looking terrific because she stays on top of it. In the most professional manner, of course. The community itself has great tenants and takes pride in itself. Neighbors are friendly if you extend a hand and as a senior lady, I feel very safe. I moved here from out of state last December and Kim made, what could have been a mess, an easy transition

I rent through Neighborhood Rentals and they made it so easy to get a place! Yes, the market is really hard right now but they’re not taking advantage of it. They only take an application fee IF they actually have a rental for you. Getting a place, moving in and living here has been so nice because they make me feel like a person, not just someone to take money from. Shawna, specifically, really wants to find you a home and make sure you’re happy there. We had a couple issues right when we moved in, but she fixed them right away and kept us in the loop the whole time. She’s really the best
