Thurston County Teachers Credit Union was founded in 1938 by a group of respected Olympia school teachers and community leaders seeking better loan and savings rates than were generally available during the tough post-Depression era. In 1981 the credit union name was changed to Twin County Credit Union to reflect the growth and expansion of the credit union into Grays Harbor County.
Credit unions are cooperative nonprofit organizations owned by members. Each credit union has a "field of membership" - a location, industry or company that members come from. Credit unions are insured and regulated by the government, just like banks. Credit unions were first started in Europe in the mid 1800s as a way for farmers and craftspeople to pool their money and help each other save and buy the things they needed.

Favorite Credit Union. They refund all 3rd party ATM fees to you at the end of each month. They treat you professionally, and they handle disputes quickly. Also, in my experience, they are more than happy to help out with fees, surcharges, or NSFs if you just simply ask them to return the money. Five stars.

This is the biggest SCAM ever committed against a consumer. I use the term consumer because I have NEVER been a customer of TWINSTAR.
They have placed erroneous remarks on my credit report for 4 years even though I have never had an account with Twinstar.
Now they are trying to collect on a loan that never... NEVER existed. It was never issued. There was never a loan application. There were never funds distributed. There was never a payment made on this fictitious loan. Only inaccurate reporting to the credit bureaus.
This is absolutely insane. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!
