I have been a massage therapist for over 20 years, following my initial certification I've taken many advanced courses ranging from deep tissue trigger point and myofascial work to restorative/relaxation treatments. Throughout all this training, what I've realized is that my clients have truly been my BEST teachers.
As a result of listening and working on them I have obtained the ability to "read" their bodies, similarly to one who reads braille, in the sense that I can feel and therefore find ones specific problem areas. It is because of that gift of experience, that I have the intuitive skills to provide each client with a truly personalized massage.

What I hope to achieve for my clients is for them to feel physically benefitted and nurtured as well! This is a therapeutic massage that targets tight muscle groups and is highly beneficial in reducing chronic pain, such as lower back issues, headaches and over-use injuries. Deep tissue work is also extremely beneficial in preventing existing problems from escalating as well as reducing stress.

I've been seeing Maria for over 10 years. She is a very experienced massage therapist with a great knowledge of the human body. I always feel so much better after a massage with Maria. She's also very warm and personable. Maria has a beautiful space conveniently located in Copley Square. She's gone out of her way to make her space safe during COVID-19. Maria is a gem! She saw me last minute when I was in a lot of pain. She has a very warm and welcoming space. She is very in tune to what your body needs. She customized everything to my level of comfort. The massage was excellent and I felt so relieved after. You can tell she's been doing massage for a long time! I've been seeing Maria for regular massages for 4 years. Maria is a skilled massage therapist. She combines her dance background and deep understanding of the body musculature to find the source of muscle pain. Then she uses her skilled hands (& elbow) to release the deepest knots. Maria is a great massage therapist. I have been seeing her for years. She is personable, highly talented and very accommodating. She works with you individually for each visit to see what has changed or developed since your last visit. She works on trigger points in particular to find the problem so she can hone in to work the appropriate areas. I highly recommend her, especially for deep tissue and sports injuries.

Maria is the best! She listens to your concerns and then works her magic! You can really tell she know what she is doing as she reads your muscles and always finds the problem spots. Her deep tissue massages are no joke and perfect for any athlete. I've recommended her to several people and will continue to do so.

I have been going to Maria for many years. She is a great masseuse with good instincts for what you need-gentle or deep, whatever you need. She listens to your what you want. Her office is a calming place and near the the Copley T-stop. I always leave feeling relaxed and better than when I walked in.

Hands down, one of the best massage therapists in Boston. Maria is a CMT specializing in deep tissue (the type of massage that is going to help repair damaged muscles and undo chronic and recent tension and pain). Maria tailors her massages to your needs.
I'm a big guy with a lot of muscle mass and major tension, and she can handle me....that's saying something.
She's is professional and down to earth, 5 stars!
