Services
We are equally pleased and proud to share a brief history of the North Sacramento Funeral Home and thank you for your interest in our family-owned and operated business. The North Sacramento Funeral Home was founded in 1935 and was the only funeral home north of the American River. In August of 1974, the business and property was purchased by Henry and Rita Morgan.
Christopher Morgan was born in Sacramento and raised in the apartment above the North Sacramento Funeral Home. He graduated from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in June of 1997 and is a licensed Embalmer, Funeral Director and Crematory Manager. Christopher also has his insurance license which allows him to assist families making pre-need arrangements.
Payment for goods and services is expected at the time arrangements are made, unless other arrangements have been made prior to need. For your convenience we accept cash, check, credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express), or a verifiable irrevocable insurance assignment. There will be a 3% surcharge on all cash advance items purchased with a credit card.
Planning for a cremation or burial, especially at the time of need, can be an emotional and daunting task. The best way to ease this burden and ensure that your final wishes are honored is to plan ahead. Our forms are designed so that they may be completed in the privacy of your home and returned by mail, fax or e-mail.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

They helped us so much with the two days of viewing and then the ritual for our son before we cremated him. As well they were punctual in getting his ashes released to us to take to the temple for his final resting place

I have used North Sacramento Funeral Home twice in my life so far and I am so pleased with both experiences. The last experience was my brother two weeks ago. Deborah was awesome. She made me feel comfortable and was very compassionate. No one wants to go through this experience but I felt at ease and cared for by all the staff involved. The service this Wednesday turned out beautiful and their flower provider did an amazing job!!

I have used them twice in the past for cremation services and never had a problem with them on the phone or when I picked up our loved ones remains.
I will be using them again shortly for cremation services.
