Hi, I'm Kim Overholt and I've had passion for baking (and sugar) from a young age. I started Love + Sugar in 2014 and have loved every second of it. I love amazing feeling that comes when someone exclaims after eating my dessert that it is the "best tasting cake (or cookie) ever!" I invite you to try out our desserts for yourself.

Whether that be for a special event or a night on the couch. We use our passion for baking to bring joy to your special occasions with a recipe for outstanding customer service and baked goods that taste as good as they look! Love + Sugar creates desserts worth sharing with others. I will then follow up withing 24-48 hours via email to discuss details, decoration, and pricing.

Have loved all of our cake orders prepared by Love + Sugar. The latest was a last minute cake for son's Aggie Ring Day and Kim was able to come through for me. Sad that she is now a bit further from me, but still worth the drive for the quality of the cake. Thanks so much!

The cake was a huge hit at our Halloween themed baby shower! Everyone commented how beautiful it was, and they really loved the flavor. That berry filling was so delicious! The mom-to-be was very pleased with it. Just what she wanted! Thank you!!

Kim made my a cake for my daughters birthday on SUPER short notice a few weeks ago. It was one of the most incredibly delicious cakes I have ever eaten and my girl LOVED IT! Absolutely going to be using her again (& soon!!!!) for our son’s 2nd birthday in just a few weeks!

Kim worked with me to create exactly the cake I had pictured, with absolutely amazing flavors! The comments on the vanilla cake with cream cheese and raspberry filling included:
"Best vanilla cake I've ever had" - my sister-in-law
"That cake is amazing" -my husband, who always chooses chocolate
"Deeeeeeeelicious!" -my 2.5-year-old niece
I can't get over how good it looked and tasted, and I can't wait to have an excuse to order from Kim again!

It’s another delicious and perfectly decorated cake from Kim at Love + Sugar! Everything she makes tastes amazing, and she listens and turns my design “ideas” (random thoughts) into exactly the vision I couldn’t quite describe! For this baby shower cake, she coordinated colors and designs with another home baker who make cookies. Thanks for helping make our daughter’s shower perfect!

Kim was truly the sweetest person to work with, and I was probably the worst customer. I called and gave her one weeks notice maybe less for this cake. I overslept on the day I should have picked it up and was over an hour late. She was so kind and understanding. We ordered a lemon vanilla cake and she blew us away. The cake had a wonderfully sweet lemon taste. The lemon was strong but not overpowering by any means, and the icing truly just brought it all together, in a sweet creamy vanilla kind of way. Kim makes the best cakes. Hands down. I love to eat and love sweets. I’ve tried high-end bakeries in Dallas to mom and pop shops and nothing comes close to Kim’s cakes. I recently found out she moved and I also moved too in the last year and I immediately had to google how far apart we lived! I have an hour commute one way to pick up a cake and it’s well worth it. Guys and gals, get those orders placed!

What AMAZING customer service!!!! Quick response, communication updates, on time for delivery! I must admit I didn't try a cupcake myself as I am in sales and they were sent to a customer of mine but they certainly enjoyed as well! Definitely recommend!

We chose a unicorn Cale and picked this place off a FB recommendation. Couldn't be more pleased with what we saw AND ate. The cake looked and tasted amazing.
